Lower Dolpo and Muktinath Trekking which is located inside the Shey Phoksundo National Park of mid–western Nepal, behind the Dhaulagiri massif, towards the Tibetan Plateau. The east and south of it is bordered by the Dhaulagiri and Churen Himal ranges and to the west by Jumla district. Trekking to Lower Dolpa proffers you the remarkable and worthwhile experience of lifetime. The noteworthy figure seen here are immaculate snowy peaks, ancient and isolated villages, rich wildlife, reliable Buddhist monastery and wonderful lakes. The people of this area are simple and warm-hearted with enthralling culture and traditions. The cultural traditions of this area are basically linked with Tibetan.
Trekking into Dolpo region gives an exposure to the High & Isolated Himalayan valleys, resembling the Tibetan highlands. The major highlight of this trek includes ‘Shey Phoksundo National Park’which is the largest National Parks of Nepal. “Shey Phoksundo Lake” is another prominent factor of this region. The lake is totally free of aqua life, which the crystal waters clearly explain. Surrounded by rock, forests, and snow- capped peaks, the area has been described as one of the World's ‘Natural Hidden Wonders’.
The trek begins at airstrip of Juphal after a short flight from the terrain town of Nepalgunj which is well connected to famous route of Annapurna Region at Jomsom from where we take flight back to Pokhara.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free, Official work, briefing and preparation day for the Lower Dolpo.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (150m.) by Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 04: Nepalgunj – Juphal (2,550m.) by flight then O/N at tented camp.
Day 05: Juphal – Dunai (2,230m.).
Day 06: Dunai – Roha (2,990m.).
Day 07: Roha – Sepka (2,750m.).
Day 08: Sepka – Regi.
Day 09: Regi – Pungmi (3,600m.).
Day 10: Pungmi – Ringmo (3,600m.).
Day 11: Walk around Ringmo (3,600m.).
Day 12: Ringmo – Silver forest.
Day 13: Silver forest – Gondla.
Day 14: Gondla – Shey Gompa (4,996m.)
Day 15: Shey Gompa – Langma Sisa Bhanjyang (5,136m.)
Day 16: Langma Sisa Bhanjyang – Num-La Bhanjyang (5,190m.)
Day 17: Num-La Bhanjyang – Do Tarap (4,100m.)
Day 18: Do Tarap – Chakra Pass Base Camp. (4,180m)
Day 19: Chakra Base Camp – Thajang Khola.
Day 20: Thajang Khola – Sangda Village.
Day 21: Sangda Village – Phalyak.
Day 22: Phalyak – Muktinath (3,802m.)
Day 23: Muktinath – Jomsom (2,713m.)
Day 24: Jomsom – Pokhara (915m.) by flight then transfer to Hotel.
Day 25: Pokhara – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 26: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 27: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.
