Dolpo is located inside the Shy–Phoksundo National Park of mid–western part of Nepal, behind the Dhaulagiri massif, towards the Tibetan Plateau.  Cut off by a series of very high passes, closed by snow most of the year, Dolpo area remains a truly isolated corner of Nepal.  Time has stood still here for centuries as the inhabitants of Tibetan stock continue to live, cultivate and trade way they have done since time immemorial. Trekking to Lower Dolpo proffers you the remarkable and worthwhile experience of lifetime. The noteworthy figure seen here are immaculate snowy peaks, ancient and isolated villages, rich wildlife, reliable Buddhist monastery and wonderful lakes. The people of this area are simple and warm-hearted with enthralling culture and traditions. The cultural traditions of this area are basically linked with Tibetan.

The finally preserved Eco–system encompasses a wild and wonderful variety of plants and wildlife, including the blue sheep and leopard. A trek through Dolpa is an experience not easily forgotten. The trek begins at airstrip of Juphal after a short flight from the terrain town of Nepalgunj which is well connected by both road and air from Kathmandu.This treks offer a real adventure trekking on remote and rugged natural unspoiled corner simply beyond the Himalayan valleys across western Nepal.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free and trekking briefing at evening.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (150m.) by Bus then transfer at Hotel or, Camp.
Day 04: Fly to Juphal (2,550m.) then trek to Dunai (2,150m.) O/N at tented camp.
Day 05: Dunai – Tarakot (Khani gaon) and visit Sandot Gompa.
Day 06: Khani Gaon – Khani Gaon trail, Camp next to River.
Day 07: Khani Gaon trail – Tarap Gaon (Do Valley).
Day 08: Rest and explore Rombomba School, Mikim Gompa, Ship Chhok Valley.
Day 09: Do Tarap – Numa-La Phedi (above Takyo Town)
Day 10: Numa-La Phedi – Pass – Campsite between passes.
Day 11: Campsite – Baga-La pass – Ringmo village.
Day 12: Ringmo village explore.
Day 13: Ringmo village – Sepka.
Day 14: Sepka – Dunai – Juphal.
Day 15: Juphal – Nepalgunj by flight and transfers to Hotel.
Day 16: Nepalgunj – Kathmandu by Bus then transfer at Hotel.
Day 17: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 18: Last minute, transfer to Airport for onward journey.

Day 06: Shepka – Ringmo (3,600m.) 7 hrs.
Day 07: Ringmo rest for observe Shey Phoksundo Lake.
Day 08: Ringmo – Pungmi (3,320m.).
Day 09: Pungmi – Kagmara Bhanjyang.
Day 10: Kagmara Bhanjyang – Kagmara Pass (5,115m.) - Gorpung Khola.
Day 11: Gorpung Khola – Hurikot.
Day 12: Hurikot – Chaurikot.
Day 13: Chaurikot – Gotthichaur.
Day 14: Ghotthichaur – Jumla (2400m.).
Day 15: Jumla – Napalgunj by early flight then rest.
Day 16: Nepalgunj – Kathmandu by local Bus then transfers to Hotel.
Day 17: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 18: Last minute, transfer to Airport for onward journey.

Cost Includes

  • All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota,Tourist Bus or local Bus. (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and 2 nights in Nepalgunj at Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • All 3 major meals a day; Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (provide continental food) and accommodation in tented camp during the trek en-route. (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent and Kitchen utensil etc.).
  • One professional English speaking trekking guide, 1 Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa and Porters. 
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
