Namaste!!! I am Kumar Bahadur Karki having 32 years of experience in the field of trekking and expedition, I am acting as a Managing Director, mountaineering guide as well as team leader for the Cultural Treks & Expedition. I started to work in this industry as a porter in 1992 and from 1995 I become a trekking guide and trekking sirdar. During this time as a mountaineering guide, I have gathered extensive knowledge of the mountains in Nepal. I ensure all of my guests get a reliable and pleasant service.
Dik Bahadur Chhetree (Santosh)
Executive Director
Santosh, a highly respected Executive Director at Cultural Treks & Expedition, is also a seasoned trekking Sirdar and guide. Hailing from the eastern Terai region of Nepal, Dharan Bazar, Santosh brings a wealth of experience to the company.
Known for his expertise in the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Langtang regions, Santosh is the ideal guide for those seeking unforgettable Himalayan adventures. His in-depth knowledge of the trails, local culture, and stunning landscapes ensures that every trek is a truly memorable experience.
Ratna Kumar Baniya
Trekking Guide & Sirdar
Ratna is one of our trekking guides and Sirdar. He educated himself working as a home cook for a landlord in Kathmandu before joining the trekking industry. Since the very beginning of this company he has become one of our most popular and well-respected leaders. His vast trekking knowledge and experience includes; Everest region (Khumbu area) Annapurnas, Dolpa, Langtang/Helambu and Kanchanjunga, where he has spent time climbing in the past.
Bhim Khadka
Trekking Officer
Bhim Khadka, also from eastern Terai of Nepal, Dharan Bazar (lowland, near by Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve). He is a Trekking Administration Officer for “Cultural Treks” but beside this, he also drives our vehicle for the cultural tour and city trips around Kathmandu valley. You will find him very honest and an expert driver.
Janga Bahadur Tamang
Trekking & Climbing Guide
Mr. Janga Bahadur Tamang is a very experienced trekking and climbing guide of Cultural Treks & Expedition. He is from Okhaldhunga of Nepal and presently living in Solu District at Lukla, a gate way of Everest BC. His expertise is guide for Everest Region,Ladakh at India, Tibet and expeditions to Nepal and Tibet Himalayas. He is one of our most experienced guides and has been working with us from 2002. People those who come for trekking, tours and expedition trips which lead by Janga was always successful and happy with his hospitality and care.
