Lower Dolpo and Kagmara Pass Trekking is located inside the Shy Phoksundo National Park of mid–western Nepal, behind the Dhaulagiri massif, towards the Tibetan Plateau. Cut off by a series of very high passes, closed by snow most of the year, Dolpa remains a truly isolated corner of Nepal. Time has stood still here for centuries as the inhabitants of Tibetan stock continue to live, cultivate and trade the way they have done since time immemorial.

The finally preserved Eco–system encompasses a wild and wonderful variety of plants and wildlife, including the blue sheep and leopard. A trek through Dolpa is an experience not easily forgotten. The trek begins at airstrip of Juphal after a short flight from the terrain town of Nepalgunj which is well connected by both road and air from Kathmandu.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trek at evening.
Day 03: Flight/Drive from Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (150m) then transfer at Hotel.
Day 04: Flight to Juphal (2475m), trek to Dunai (2,140m) Suli Ghat (2,282m) O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 05: Dunai/Suli Ghat – Chhepka (Sepka - 2,838m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 06: Chhepka – Rechi (Regi - 3,100m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 07: Rechi – Ringmo Village (3,641m) Shey Phoksundo Lake). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 08: Rest day for to explore surrounding Ringmo, Shey Phoksundo Lake). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 09: Ringmo Village – Pungmi Village (Pugma - 3,500m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Pungmo Village – Lasa (4060m) Kagmara Base Camp (4,800m) O/N at Camping.
Day 11: Kagmara Base Camp – Kagmara La Pass (5,115m) – Kagmara Phedi (3,500m) O/N at Camping.
Day 12: Kagmara Phedi – Kai Gaon (2,610m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 13: Kai Gaon – Chaurikot (3,060m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 14: Chaurikot – Chhopagaon (3,085m) or, Chotra Village (Churta - 3,380m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 15: Chhopagaon/Chotra – Gothichaur (2,650m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 16: Gothichaur – Jumla (2,540m) and transfer to Lodge/Hotel.
Day 17: Flight from Jumla – Nepalgunj then transfer at Hotel.
Day 18: Flight/Drive from Nepalgunj – Kathmandu then transfer at Hotel.
Day 19: Reserve day if incase of bad weather for flight. Leisure day in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 21: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
