Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek is the most incredible trek in eastern part of Nepal, the foot of Kanchenjunga at (8,598m.) is the world's third highest mountain located between Nepal and India border state of Sikkim, this classic Nepal trek visits both the South and North Base Camps of this incredible mountain. The trek starts in the tropical lowlands at Taplejung from where we head south through lush forests and neatly terraced hillsides towards the mighty Himalaya. The views become more spectacular the higher we go and as we trek onto the glacial moraines the huge bulk of Kanchenjunga towers high above.
After flying to Bhadrapur airport we drive to Ilam and Phungling Bazar, Taplejung where from we start at low altitude walking through the rice field and villages of the Tarai Newar, Rai, Limbu and Chhetri people. Only opened to trekking groups in 1988, the Kanchenjunga region offers the keen walker a unique opportunity to visit an pristine mountain wilderness, passing through seldom visited villages en route and ending with some of the most impressive high mountain scenery on earth. Trails back with spectacular mountain scenery as we gradually descend to Taplejung and flight back to Kathmandu from Bhadrapur.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,350m.), meet our staff and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free, official work and briefing at evening.
Day 03: Fly to Bhadrapur (80m.) then drive to Ilam/Phiding Bazar. (370m.) O/N at Hotel.
Day 04: Drive from Ilam Bazar to Taplejung, Phungling Bazar. (1,824m.)
Day 05: Trek from Taplejung - Lali Kharka. (2,200m.).
Day 06: Lali Kharka - Khesewa. (1,915m.- Kande Danda)
Day 07: Khesewa - Mamankhe. (1,915m.)
Day 08: Mamankhe - Yamphudin. (1,670m.)
Day 09: Yamphudin - Lamite Bhajyang (3,450m.)
Day 10: Lamite Bhajyang - Tseram. (3,770m.)
Day 11: Tseram - Ramche. (4,580m. - Nos. Ramze)
Day 12: Ascent to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (4,500m.- KBC South) and return to Ramche.
Day 13: Ramche - Tseram. (3,770m.)

Day 15: Rakpa Kharka - Ghunsa. (3,427m.)
Day 16: Ghunsa - Kambachen. (4,050m. - Khangpachen)

Day 18: Lhonak - Pangpema, Kanchenjunga Base Camp. (5,143m.- KBC North)
Day 19: Morning views and trek back to - Kambachen.
Day 20: Kambachen - Ghunsa.
Day 21: Ghunsa - Phere (3240m. - Phole).
Day 22: Phere (Phole) - Amjilosa. (2395m.- Amjilessa)
Day 23: Amjilosa (Amjilessa) - Chiruwa. (1270m. -Chirwa)
Day 24: Chiruwa - Mitlung. (921m.)
Day 25: Mitlung - Taplejung. (1,824m.)
Day 26: Taplejung - Bhadrapur and transfer to Hotel.
Day 27: Fly back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 28: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 29: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
