Gokyo and Renjo-La Pass trekking is in the remote valleys beneath these peaks are threaded by ancient trails. Some like the well-traveled path to Everest Base camp are well known among western trekkers and mountaineers. Others including the trail through Nangpa-La between Namche Bazaar and Tibet are known to Tibetan monks and traders, but have long been forbidden to Westerners. This exploratory trip is our attempt to offer fresh insight, little trod trails and new visual perspectives on this area of greatest Himalayan peaks.
This trek also traces important history of the Sherpa people. They settled the region in the late 1400s or early 1500s, arriving from the eastern Tibetan province of Salmo Gang. Sherpas appears to have left their homeland and crossed the Nangpa-La pass (5,716m) in to Nepal. The economy of the Sherpa Community has traditionally been agriculture, livestock herding and trading between Nepal and Tibet. This trek leads superb views of Thamserku and Nangpa-La Valley then after crossing the Renjo-La pass scenic views trails takes us Gokyo Lake from where we will have closed views Everest and its range.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla (2,860m) then trek to Phakding (2,652m) T. Lodge.
Day 03: Phakding – Namche Bazar. (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization, with a day hike to Hotel Everest View (3,790m) and the surrounding areas.
Day 05: Namche Bazar – Thame Village (3,820m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Thame rest for acclimatization and exploration around. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Thame Village - Lungden Village (4,368m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Lungden - ascent Renjo La Pass (5,360m) - Gokyo Lake (4,790m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Early morning hike to Gokyo Ri Peak (5,357m) – Gokyo Village for overnight at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Gokyo Village – Dole Village. (4,200m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 11: Dole Village – Namche Bazar. O/N at Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Namche Bazar – Lukla Bazar and transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap or, Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 15: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 07: Machharmo Village – Gokyo Village (Gokyo Lake - 4,790m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Early morning hike to Gokyo Ri Peak (5,357m) – Gokyo Village for overnight at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Gokyo Lake - Renjo La Pass (5,460m) - Decent to Lungden (4,368m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Lungden Village - Thame Village (3,820m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 11: Thame Village to Monjo Village (2,835m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Monjo Village - Lukla Bazar then transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap or, Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 15: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
