Trip Overview

Gokyo Cho-La Pass with Everest Base Camp Trekking is lodge-based trek follows in the footsteps of the great climbing parties. Trekking through Sherpa heartland past cultivated fields and small villages, we follow the Dudh Koshi before the hard work begins as we climb up to Namche Bazaar. Above the tree-line the scenery is stark but spectacular and fantastic views. Walking trail up to Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri peak is a another part of this trek and taste itself with wonedrful views of Everest, Cho Oyu and other peaks around.

Crossing Cho-La pass is one of the adventure which takes us Kala Pattar and Everest Base camp to explore around. The incredible Buddhist monastery at Tengboche is a photographer's paradise, set against the backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest and other huge, snowcapped peaks. With time for acclimatization en route, Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu glacier as well as Icefall and the opportunity to climb Kala Pattar (5550m) for a breathtaking view of Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Trail descent, surprisingly fast, brings us back to Lukla where we take flight back to Kathmandu.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: Spring & Autumn

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla (2,860m) then trek to Phakding (2,652m) T. Lodge.
Day 03: Phakding – Namche Bazar. (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization, with a day hike to Hotel Everest View (3,790m) and the surrounding areas.
Day 05: Namche Bazar – Dole Village (4,200m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Dole – Machharmo Village. (4,470m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Machharmo Village – Gokyo Village. (Lake - 4,790m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Morning ascent to Gokyo Ri Peak (5,357m) Gokyo Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Gokyo Village – Dragnag (Thangnak - 4,700m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Dragnag – Cho La Pass (Chhugyuma La - 5,420m) – Dzongla (4,830m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 11: Dzongla – Lobuche Village (4940m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep (5,140m) - Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Ascent to Kala Patthar (5,545m), descent to Gorakshep, return to Lobuche. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 14: Lobuche Village – Dingboche (4,410m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Dingboche - Day hike to Chhukung Village (4,730m) back to Dingboche. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 16: Dingboche – Tengboche (3,867m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Tengboche – Namche Bazar. O/N at Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 18: Namche Bazar – Lukla Bazar (2,860m) then transfer to Hotel.
Day 19: Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap or, Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 20: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 21: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Cost Includes

All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
3 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
1 English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
