Trip Overview

Everest Base Camp and Gokyo trek which is lodge-based trek follows in the footsteps of the great climbing parties. Trekking through Sherpa heartland past cultivated fields and small villages, we follow the Dudh Koshi River before the hard work begins as we climb up to Namche Bazar. Above the tree-line the scenery is stark but spectacular and fantastic views.

The incredible Buddhist Monastery at Tengboche is a photographer's paradise, set against the backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest and other huge, snowcapped peaks. With time for acclimatization en route, our goal is Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu glacier as well as Icefall and the opportunity to climb Kala Pattar (5,545m) for a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Our descent, surprisingly fast, brings us back to Lukla and scenic flight back to Kathmandu.

Outline Trek Itinerary: Winter, Spring & Autumn

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla (2,860m) then trek to Phakding (2,652m) T. Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding - Namche Bazar (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization, with a day hike to Hotel Everest View (3,790m) and the surrounding areas.
Day 06: Namche Bazar - Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3,867m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tengboche – Dingboche Village (4,410m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Acclimatization day for hiking to Chhukung Village (4,730m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Dingboche Village – Lobuche (4,940m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Lobuche Village to Gorakshep (5,140m) - Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 11: Ascent to Kala Patthar (5,545m) and return to Lobuche Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Lobuche Village - Dzong La (4,830m). below Cho La Pass. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Ascent to Cho La Pass (5,420m) - Dragnag (Thagnagk - 4,700m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 14: Dragnag to Gokyo Village (Gokyo Lake - 4,790m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Ascent to Gokyo Ri Peak (5,357m) return to Gokyo Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 16: Gokyo Village - Dole Village (4,200m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Dole Village - Namche Bazar. O/N at Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 18: Namche Bazar - Lukla Bazar and transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 19: Flight from Lukla to Ramechhap or, Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 20: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 21: Last minute, transfer to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Cost Includes

All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace or, tourist Bus. (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed and Breakfast basis.
3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation; twine sharing bed room at best available teahouse lodge en-route.
1 English speaking trekking and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member).
Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
Trekking Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality and Sagarmatha National Park entrance fees..
