Salpa High Passes and Everest trek is superb trek takes us away from the more frequented trails, begins with a mountain views flight, take us always exciting to Tumlingar before heading into the beautiful and remote Arun Valley in the eastern Everest region. An area astoundingly rich in flora and fauna, with numerous species of birds and animals found no where else in the country. From the fertile tropical valleys inhabited by Rai peoples cross the Salpa Bhanjyang pass and alpine ridges to reach the Dudh Kosi Valley, home land of Sherpa people.
This trip is more convenient to do trekking in the season spring (March to May) and autumn (September to December). Beginners or inexperienced climbers can take this trek, but this trek requires one to be moderately fit. Considering the snow conditions over Salpa Pass, the trek is advisable even during winter (January/February) and the monsoon season (July/August).
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Flight to Tumlingtar (518m) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 03: Tumlingtar – Ghote Bazar (1,225m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 04: Ghote Bazar – Salpa Phedi (Upper Phedi - 1,685m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 05: Salpa Phedi- Salpa Pass (3,414m) – Guranse Village (2,881m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 06: Guranse Village – Salpa Pokhari (Lake - 3,443m) – Sanam Village (1,900m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 07: Sanam Village – Chheskam Village (2,515m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 08: Chheskam – Bung Village (1,800m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 09: Bung Village – Surkie La (3,085m) - Naji Dingma Village (2,650m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Naji Dingma – Pankongma La (3,216m) - Pangum Village (2,850m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 11: Pangum Village – Lukla Bazar (2,860m) and transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Lukla Bazar – Kathmandu by flight then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
Option for drive back to Kathmandu:
Day 11: Pangum – Khari Khola Village (2,220m), drive to Salleri (2,390m) transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: From Salleri Bazar to Kathmandu by drive then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 05: Pangum – Pankongma La Pass (3,216m) - Naji Dingma Village (2,650m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 06: Naji Dingma Village – Bung Village (1,710m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 07: Bung Village – Sanam Village (1,900m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 08: Sanam – Salpa Pass - 3,414m) - Salpa Phedi (Upper Phedi -1,685m). O/N at T. Lodge/Camping.
Day 09: Salpa Phedi – Ghote Bazar (1,225m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Ghote Bazar – Kattike Ghat (4,57m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
