Everest Trail and Chitwan Jungle Safari is a perfect trip for those who have always wanted to see the world’s highest mountain. In the shadow of Everest lies the traditional homeland of the Sherpas, the renowned mountain people who migrated south from the Tibetan plateau. We explore the region using colorful village inns, maximizing our contact with the Sherpa people. Our first destination is Namche Bazaar, the trading capital and main town of the Khumbu region. Leaving Namche, we follow trails used by many Everest expeditions to the highlight of the trek, the famous monastery at Tengboche, one of the finest mountain viewpoints in the world.
Leaving the mountains we head down to the plains and visit Chitwan Jungle National Park where we hope to see rhino, sloth bear and many other species. It is a easy trek that anyone can do.
