Dudh Kunda Lake Trek located though less high and famous than the neighboring Khumbu region, it is likewise inhabited by the friendly Sherpa people. Solu also receives far less trekking traffic than the Khumbu, making for a more intimate and authentic experience. Dudh Kunda Lake is situated at the foot of Numbur Himal, locally known as Shorong Yul Lha, “Protector of Solu Khumbu ".
From Kathmandu Jeep drive to Phaplu or we drive to Bhandar through the Jiri road and during two days we follow the Phaplu or Lukla old route before heading to a completely new route through forested ridges and sparsely inhabited area. From day six, we trek through high pastures, pine and rhododendron forests without permanent settlement. Walking upstream the Beni Khola we reach Dudh Kunda and keep one day for exploring around. Rather than retracing our footsteps in return, we descend towards Khumbu region for ending in Lukla. Next day we fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Jeep or, Bus drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu Bazar (2,413m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 03: Local Jeep drive to Taksindo Village (Taksindu - 3,100m) and O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Taksindo Village to Saharsbeni Village (Sano Beni - 4,100m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Day hike to Dudh Kunda (4,592m) explore, back to Saharsbeni. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Trek back from Saharsbeni - Taksindo Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Trek from Taksindo to Phaplu Bazar and transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Phaplu Bazar to Kathmandu by Jeep or, Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 09: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 05: Saharsbeni - Dudh Kunda (Lake - 4,592m) trek back to Saharsbeni. 5/6 Hrs. O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 06: Saharsbeni - Phaplu (Salleri-2,390m) via Ringmu Village (2,720m). 5hrs/1hrs drive. O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 07: Phaplu Bazar to Kathmandu by Jeep or, Bus drive then transfer to Hotel.
Day 08: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 09: Last minute, transfer to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 07: Jeep or, Bus drive back from Phaplu Bazar to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 09: Yak Kharka - Lamjura La Pass (3,530m) - Taktor (2,900m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Taktor - Pikey Peak Base Camp (Bhanjyang (4,070m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 11: Day hike to Pikey Peak (4,065m) explore, return to Pikey Peak BC. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Pikey Peak BC - Loding Village (2,515m) to Phaplu Bazar (2,413m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Jeep or Bus drive back from Phaplu to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
