Family tours surround Kathmandu, Pokhara, trek to Ghorepani and Chitwan jungle safari

This is one of the most dramatic low altitude treks in the Annapurna region, journeying mainly away from busy tourist routes. We start the trek in Nayapul to Birethanti after the drive from Pokhara, “valley of panorama”, follow the north of Modi Khola valley and climb the ridge to Tirkhedhunga. Throughout this trek, as we walk beneath the Annapurna ranges, the mountain views are spectacular. Here also is the unforgettably beautiful Machhapuchhre (6993m.) we considered by many to be the most entrancing peak of all. As we trek up the highest elevation of the trip (3,210m) encounter working in the rice fields.

The mountain of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri continue to reveal their beauty and below is the deepest gorge on the earth’s surface, Kaligandaki. As we return to Pokhara from Poon Hill, we leave the crowded trekking trails and travel through magnificent rhododendron and oak forests. The people we meet are friendly and unaffected. No one can fail to be impressed by the diversity highlighted on this adventure. The snow-covered peaks of the Annapurna Himalayas, day sightseeing around Kathmandu, Pokhara, and an elephant-back safari in the jungle offer a taste of Nepal's remarkable pleasures.

Outline Trek Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Day sightseeing: Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Patan durbar square and Swayambhunath (Monkey temple) with professional english speaking tour guide. 4/5 hrs.
Day 03: Drive or, Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (915m) and transfer to Hotel.
Day 04: Jeep drive to Nayapul (1,070m) – Ulleri Village (2,073m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Ulleri Village – Ghorepani Village (2,874m), explore surrounding areas. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Ghorepani Village – Poon Hill (3,210m) – Tadapani Village (2,630m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tadapani Village – Ghandruk Village (1,940m). explore around. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Drive back from Ghandruk Village to Pokhara then transfer to Hotel.
Day 09: Day sightseeing tour: Visit Shiva Statue, World Peace Pagoda (Stupa), Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Davi's Fall and International Mountain Museum.
Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Sauraha for Jungle Safari activities and transfer to Hotel/Resort.
Day 11: Full day Jungle safari activities in Chitwan Jungle National Park.
Day 12: Drive back from Sauraha to Kathmandu by tourist Bus and transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
