Muktinath is one of the world's classic pilgrimages trekking around the entire Annapurna range

Muktinath is a one of famous pilgrimage center for Buddhist and Hindus. The shrines include a Buddhist Gompa and the Vishnu temple Jwala Mai. An old temple nearby shelter spring and natural gas jets, which provide Muktinath with the famous eternal flame. Jomsom is the only place along the Annapurna circuit, which is connected by air with Pokhara and Kathmandu. It is also the district headquarters of Mustang, which includes part of the legendary Mustang and the Muktinath Region. Muktinath trekking begins from Jomsom and trails will be easy to go to along the Kaligandaki River and reach to village of Kagbeni, a Tibetan influenced settlement close to Lo-Manthang, the capital of what use to be the old principality of Mustang.

From Kagbeni village the trail climbs steeply to rejoin the regular trial before Khingar is reached. A further climb brings you to Jharkot then Ranipauwa, the accommodation area of Muktinath (3,802m), where we can see most impressive views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Thapa peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri north and Tilicho Peak.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Drive or, flight to Pokhara (915m) then transfers to Hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Kagbeni Village (2,804m) then transfer to Hotel. Visit old Buddhist Gompa.
Day 05: Drive or, trek to Muktinath (3,802m) at Rani Pouwa. O/N at Hotel or, Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: A day to explore the Muktinath Temple and its surrounding areas. O/N at Hotel or, Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Drive from Muktinath Village – Pokhara then transfer to Hotel.
Day 08: Drive or, flight from Pokhara – Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 09: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 10: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 07: Drive or, trek to Muktinath (3,802m) at Rani Pouwa. O/N at Hotel or, Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: A day to explore the Muktinath Temple and its surrounding areas. O/N at Hotel or, Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Drive from Muktinath Village – Pokhara then transfer to Hotel.
Day 10: Drive or, flight from Pokhara – Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 12: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Cost Includes

  • All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace and tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, at Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • 3 Major meals a day; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
  • One professional English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
