Mt. Lhakpa Ri, a high altitude trek and most attainable 7,045m. Peak in the world and an ideal objective, remarkably positioned just across the glacier from Everest. It shares the historic route up the East Rongbuk Glacier and is climbable by a relatively safe and straightforward route. It is just over the milestone altitude of 7,045m. making it higher than anything outside Asia and is probably the most climbable peak in the world. Mt. Lhakpa Ri is first climbed by George Mallory, who was on his way to the Everest reconnaissance in 1921 and he had seen the north col. The second ascent made by Bill Tilman during his Everest reconnaissance in 1936. The third ascent was made by French Everest summiteers Michelle Pella in 1988 and the fourth ascent made by Ken McConnell in 1991. The current expedition teams follow the same routes as the previous four expedition teams used in the past.
Our trek through valleys filled with ripening barley and herds of yaks to Everest Base Camp. A steady achievable trek through stunning glaciers and peaks to Advanced Base Camp and Lhakpa Ri which must be the world’s most achievable 7,000m. Peak. The ascent follows a shallow, snow-filled depression on the southwest flank, ascending low-angled snow for 6000m., which steeples at mid-height to around 30-35°. After gaining the crest of the ridge close to the Lhakpa La, we turn south and follow the snow ridge to the summit. This trip start from Kathmandu and drive takes you to Kyirong Bazar via Syabrubesi, after visa formalities work and meeting transportation at Timure, driving along the northern side of the Himalaya range with views of Mt. Shisha Pangma, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt Everest and numerous other peaks we will reach to Lakpa Ri Base Camp. After finishing expedition we will drive to back to Pasang Lhamu high way friendship bridge at Timure and continue drive back to Kathmandu for final departure.

Sept. 07 - Day 04: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,462m.) and Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.
Sept. 08 - Day 05: Drive from Syabrubesi - Kyirong Bazar (2,700m.) O/N at Hotel
Sept. 09 - Day 06: Nyalam – Tingri. Hotel.
Sept. 10 - Day 07: Rest day for acclimatization. Hotel.
Sept. 11 - Day 08: Drive to Lhakpa Ri Base Camp. Tented Camp.
Sept. 12 - Day 09: Lhakpa Ri Base Camp rest for acclimatization.
Sept. 13 - Day 10: Lhakpa Ri Base Camp – Middle Camp. Tented Camp.
Sept. 14 - Day 11: Middle Camp – Advance Base Camp. Tented Camp.
Sept. 15/27 - Day 12/24: Climbing period for Lakpa Ri (7,045m.) summit.
Sept. 28 - Day 25: Reserve day. Tented Camp.
Sept. 29 - Day 26: Trek back to Base Camp.
Sept. 30 - Day 27: Drive back to Kyirong border. O/N at Hotel.
Oct. 01 - Day 28: Drive to Timure border and back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Oct. 02 - Day 29: Free day in Kathmandu and farewell dinner at evening.
Oct. 03 - Day 30: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

Sept. 07 - Day 04: Fly to Lhasa (3,660m.) and transfer to Hotel.
Sept. 08/09 - Day 05/06: Sightseeing in Lhasa. O/N at Hotel.
Sept. 10 - Day 07: Free in Lhasa. O/N at Hotel.
Sept. 11 - Day 08: Drive Lhasa – Gyantse (3,950m.).
Sept. 12 - Day 09: Drive to Shigatse (3,900m.).
Sept. 13 - Day 10: Sightseeing and drive to Shegar (4,050m.).
Sept. 14 - Day 11: Drive Shegar - Rongbuk (5,000m.)
Sept. 15 - Day 12: At Lakpa Ri Base Camp/Everest Base Camp (5,200m.).
Sept. 16 - Day 13: Trek to Camp 1 (5,460m.).
Sept. 17 - Day 14: Trek to Interim Camp (5,760m.).
Sept. 18 - Day 15: Rest day at Interim Camp (5,760m.).
Sept. 19 - Day 16: Trek to Camp 2 (5,970m.).
Sept. 20 - Day 17: Trek to Camp 3 (6,400m.).
Sept. 21 - Day 18: Rest day at Camp 3 (6,400m.).
Sept. 22 - Day 19: Preparation for summit, At Camp 3 (6,400m.).
Sept. 23 - Day 20: Climbing period for Lhakpa Ri (7,045m.), return to Advance Base Bamp.
Sept. 24 - Day 21: Reserve day for if incase weather bad or back pack.
Sept. 25/27 - Day 22/24: Trek back to Everest Chinese Base Camp.
Sept. 28/29 - Day 25/26: Drive back to Kyirong border and transfer to Hotel.
Sept. 30 - Day 27: Drive from Kyirong to Timure, visa formality drive to Syabrubesi (1,462m.). O/ N at Hotel.
Oct. 01 - Day 28: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Oct. 02 - Day 29: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner at evening.
Oct. 03 - Day 30: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
Hiring High Altitude Climbing Sherpa (Guide): USD 7,400 Per Sherpa (If required by Member)

- Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food and fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
- Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 7,400 includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance,and sleeping tents at up to advance BC etc.
Summit Bonus: Camp 7000m. and over to summit= USD 500 = 500 USD extra payable for climbing Sherpa on the spot.
