Mt. Everest North Col Expedition up to 7000m in Tibet region, which is ideal expedition for climber who intend to climb Everest North Col Expeditions in the future. If you have some doubts about your being ready to try and climb over 8000 meter or Mt. Everest, then the best option for you is to try yourself on a less difficult and dangerous route Everest North Col (7,000m). Our expedition starts from Kathmandu and we are all meeting in the Cultural Treks and Expedition office at Thamel. We drive from Kathmandu to Kyirong (2,700m) and Tingri. We have 2 day of rest in Tingri for acclimatization and the next day we drive to Everest Base Camp (5,200m.). After 2-3 rest days in base camp we start walk with yaks to Advance Base Camp (5,800m.). The next day we proceed to advance base camp (6,400m) where we set up a camp for whole time of expedition. After some day we start to climb the North Col (7,000m). It usually takes 5-7 hours up and 2-3 hours down to advance base camp.
Climbing Sherpa for Mt. Everest North Col 7,000m:
We will serve highly professional, well trained and qualified expert climbing Sherpas for the your expeditions. Many climbers avoid Sherpa guides for the climbing and would like to climb Alpine style but they have been found to facing many hindrances on their way. If you take Sherpas along with you on the expedition, they are very useful in your each and every step of support, which makes your climbing easier to restore your strained energy and it gives you vigorous strength for your next day’s climbing and make it successful trip. Most of the groups, who have gone with the Sherpa guides on the expedition, are found to be succeeding as per our past experiences. So we suggest you to operate your expeditions along with the climbing guides (Sherpa).

31 March - Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport (1,350m). Meet our staff and transfer to the hotel.
01 April - Day 02: Leisure day, Apply documents and passport for the Tibet visa at the Chinese Embassy.
02 April - Day 03: Leisure day, shopping or preparation for the expedition.
03 April - Day 04: Final preparation, backpacks, attend the official briefing about the trip at evening.
04 April - Day 05: Drive to Timure (1,740m) and overnight at Hotel, Lodge.
05 April - Day 06: Drive Timure - Immigration formality and drive to Kyirong (2,700m) O/N at Hotel.
06 April - Day 07: Drive from Kyirong to Tingri (4,350m). O/N at Hotel.
07 April - Day 08: Fully day acclimatization in Tingri. O/N at Hotel.
08 April - Day 09: Drive from Tingri to Everest Chinese Base Camp (5,200m) O/N at Tented Camp.
09 April - Day 10: Full day acclimatization at Chinese Everest Base Camp. O/N at Tented Camp.
10 April - Day 11: Day for acclimatization, prepare loads for Yak to Advance BC. O/N at Tented Camp.
11 April - Day 12: Everest Chinese BC to the Intermediate Base Camp (5,800m) O/N at Tented Camp.
12 April - Day 13: Intermediate BC to Advanced Base Camp (6,400m) Set up Camp. O/N at Tented Camp.
13/14 April - Day 14/15: Rest and acclimatization in Advance BC (6,400m). O/N at Tented Camp.
15/21 April - Day 16/22: Climbing period, ascent Mt. Everest North Col (7,000m) - Full Camping.
22 April - Day 23: Contingency days incase of bad weather. O/N at Tented Camp.
23 April - Day 24: Day for backpack and trek to Intermediate Base Camp. O/N at Tented Camp.
24 April - Day 25: Intermediate Base Camp to Everest Chinese Base Camp (5,100m) O/N at Tented Camp.
25 April - Day 26: Drive from Everest Chinese BC – Kyirong Bazar then transfer to Hotel.
26 April - Day 27: Drive from Kyirong to Nepal border and Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
27 April - Day 28: Reserve day or, Leisure day in Kathmandu.
28 April - Day 29: Free day in Kathmandu for rest and farewell dinner in the evening.
29 April - Day 30: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey. Final Departure.

04 April - Day 05: Fly to Lhasa Gonggar Int'l Airport (3,650m), meet our staff and transfer to Hotel.
05 April - Day 06: Sightseeing: Lhasa, Drepung, Sera and Norbu Lingka Monasteries. O/N at Hotel.
06 April - Day 07: Sightseeing in Lhasa, Potala Palace, Jokhang and Barkhor market. O/N at Hotel.
07 April - Day 08: Drive to Shigatse (3,900m), visiting Shalu Monastery and Tashilunpo en-route.
08 April - Day 09: Drive to Shegar (4,200m) O/N at Hotel.
09 April - Day 10: Drive to Everest Base Camp (5,200m) O/N at Tented Camp.
10 April - Day 11: Day for acclimatization, prepare loads for Yak to Advance BC. O/N at Tented Camp.
11 April - Day 12: Everest Chinese BC to the Intermediate Base Camp (5,800m) O/N at Tented Camp.
12 April - Day 13: Intermediate BC to Advanced Base Camp (6,400m) Set up Camp. O/N at Tented Camp.

Tipping System:
Tipping is mandatory and it is done on a group-sharing basis by expedition participants. The minimum recommended amounts are:
1. BC Interpreter/Guide & Cook: Min. USD 400 each.
2. BC Kitchen Boys/Helpers: Min. USD 300 each.
3. Yak or, Jopkyo Driver: Min. USD 50 each.

Note for expedition participants:
Expedition service up to Base Camp: This applies to those who have booked the expedition service - up to Base Camp. The cost does not include the High Altitude (H. A.) Climbing Sherpa guide, food and fuel, tents, climbing gear, fixed ropes up to the summit, or the Sherpa’s bonus beyond Advance Base Camp.Additional Cost for a High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: USD 7,500 (If required by client).
The additional cost for a High Altitude Climbing Sherpa (H. A.) includes: Expedition equipment allowance, Personal climbing gears, daily wages, food and fuel from base camp to summit, private transportation rescue coverage, medical expenses, accident insurance for the Sherpa, all ground transportation and a personal sleeping tent at base camp, among other essentials.
Summit Bonus for High Altitude Climbing Sherpa (H. A.): USD 700 for reaching Camp at 7,000m, plus to the summit - total USD 1000. This amount is payable on the spot (ABC) by the climbing member and applies only to those climber who purchase expedition services - up to summit.
