An excursion trekking around Langtang to Helambu valley with panoramic Mountain View.

According to legend, the Langtang valley was discovered by Lama following runway Yak, hence the name ‘Lang’ is Yak for Tibetan and ‘Tang’ means to follow. Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just south of Tibet boarder sandwiched between main Himalayan range to the northern and a slightly lower range of snow clad peaks to the south. This high and isolated region is inhabited by people of Tibetan origin, who practice Buddhism. Langtang and Helambu Excursion offers an opportunity to explore village as well as to visit glaciers at the head of the valley, Langtang people and their life style within the Langtang National Park boundary.

A perfect harmony between nature and human, high altitude jungles with diverse flora and fauna, scenic lakes and imposing Himalayan peaks like Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,245m.), Mt. Dorje Lakpa and Shishapangma (Chinese Mountain). There is a large rock at the center of the lake, which said to be the remains of a Shiva shrine. There are more than 100 lakes around it such as Saraswati, Bhairav, Surya Kunda, Gosain Kunda Lake and Ganesh Kunda Lake etc. to explore.

Outline Trekking Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Syabrubensi (1,462m.). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 03: Syabrubensi – Lama Hotel (2,380m.).
Day 04: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village. (3,500m.).
Day 05: Langtang Village – Kyangjing Gompa. (3,800m.).
Day 06: Hiking day and Tserko Ri. (5,033m.).
Day 07: Kyangjing Gompa – Lama Hotel.
Day 08: Lama Hotel – Thulo Syabru Village. (3,901m.).
Day 09: Thulo Syabru Village – Shing Gompa. (3,254m.).
Day 10: Shing Gompa – Gosain Kunda Lake. (4,300m.).
Day 11: Gosain Kunda Rest and explore.
Day 12: Trek to Louri Binayak Pass. (4,609m.) – Tharepati (3,600m.).
Day 13: Tharepati – Tarkeghayang. (2,560m.).
Day 14: Tarkeghayang – Sarmathang. (2,621m.).
Day 15: Sarmathang – Melamchi Pul Bazar. (846m.).
Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
Day 17: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 18: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Cost Includes

3 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
