Trip Overview

Helambu and Chitwan Jungle Safari has scenic grandeur and pleasant climate as well as a long history of Buddhism, culture and ancient tradition of Tamang and Sherpas. It is a superb introduction to trekking in Nepal, among some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country. Lying 30 km. north of Kathmandu, Helambu is the most accessible trekking region in Nepal. The trek starts from Dhunche after driving 150 km from Kathmandu. We further trek to the sacred Gosain Kunda Lake situated at an elevation of 4,336 meters and our trail descent having scenic Helambu region to Chisopani and Sundarijal from where our trek will end and drive back to Kathmandu and Chitwan Jungle safari is another taste to have some relaxation.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A via Dhunche Bazar

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trek at evening.
Day 03: Drive – Dhunche Bazar (1,966m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge
Day 04: Dhunche – Chandanbari (Shing Gompa - 3,254m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Chandanbari – Gosain Kunda (Lake - 4,380m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Gosain Kunda – Louribinayak Pass (4,609m) – Tharepati (3,597m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tharepati – Gul Bhanjyang (2,142m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Gul Bhanjyang – Chisapani (2,194m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Chisapani - Sundarijal, drive to Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Chitwan (Souraha) by tourist Bus and transfers to Hotel or resorts.
Day 11: Full day Jungle Safari activities.
Day 12: Chitwan – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfers to Hotel.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal, trek to Chisapani (2,194m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge
Day 04: Chisapani – Kutumsang (2,446m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Kutumsang – Tharepati (3,597m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Tharepati – Tarkeghayang Village (2,590m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tarkeghayang – Sermathang Village (2,621m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Sermathang – Melamchi Pul Bazaar (828m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Melamchi Bazar to Kathmandu by drive then transfers to Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Chitwan by tourist Bus (Coach) then transfer to resort.
Day 11: Full day Jungle Safari activities.
Day 12: Chitwan – Kathmandu by tourist Bus (Coach) then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Last minute transfers to airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

5 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
