Trip Overview

Helambu and Chitwan Jungle Safari has scenic grandeur and pleasant climate as well as a long history of Buddhism, culture and ancient tradition of Tamang and Sherpas. It is a superb introduction to trekking in Nepal, among some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country. Lying 30 km. north of Kathmandu, Helambu is the most accessible trekking region in Nepal. The trek starts from Dhunche after driving 150 km from Kathmandu. We further trek to the sacred Gosain Kunda Lake situated at an elevation of 4,336 meters and our trail descent having scenic Helambu region to Chisopani and Sundarijal from where our trek will end and drive back to Kathmandu and Chitwan Jungle safari is another taste to have some relaxation.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Drive – Dhunche (1,966m.). O/N at Teahouse Lodge
Day 04: Dhunche – Sing Gompa (3,254m.)
Day 05: Shing Gompa – Gosain Kunda (4,361m.)
Day 06: Gosain Kunda – Louribinayak Pass (4,609m.) – Tharepati (3,600m.)
Day 07: Tharepati – Gul Bhanjyang (2,130m.)
Day 08: Gul Bhanjyang – Chisopani (2,194m.)
Day 09: Trek to Sundarijal, drive to Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Chitwan by Bus and transfers to Hotel or resorts.
Day 11: Full day Jungle activities.
Day 12: Chitwan – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfers to Hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Day 04: Chisapani – Kutumsang (2,446m.)
Day 05: Kutumsang – Tharepati (3,597m.)
Day 06: Tharepati – Tarke Ghayang (2,567m.)
Day 07: Tarke Ghayang – Shermathang (2,621m.)
Day 08: Shermathang – Melamchi Pul Bazaar (8,28m.)
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu by drive then transfers to Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Chitwan by bus then transfer to resort.
Day 11: Full day Jungle activities.
Day 12: Chitwan – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 14: Last minute transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Cost Includes

All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace or, tourist Bus. (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
5 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
Kathmandu/Dhunche/Sundarijal/Kathmandu or, Kathmandu/Sundarijal/Melamchi Bazar/Kathmandu by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace or by local Bus.
3 Major meals a day; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
