Dudh Kunda Lake Trek located though less high and famous than the neighboring Khumbu region, it is likewise inhabited by the friendly Sherpa people. Solu also receives far less trekking traffic than the Khumbu, making for a more intimate and authentic experience. Dudh Kunda Lake is situated at the foot of Numbur Himal, locally known as Shorong Yul Lha, “Protector of Solu Khumbu ".
From Kathmandu Jeep drive to Phaplu or we drive to Bhandar through the Jiri road and during two days we follow the Phaplu or Lukla old route before heading to a completely new route through forested ridges and sparsely inhabited area. From day six, we trek through high pastures, pine and rhododendron forests without permanent settlement. Walking upstream the Beni Khola we reach Dudh Kunda and keep one day for exploring around. Rather than retracing our footsteps in return, we descend towards Khumbu region for ending in Lukla. Next day we fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Jeep or, Bus drive to Phaplu (2,413m) transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Phaplu Bazar - Ratnange Khola (Village - 3,100m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Ratnange Khola - Kemje View Point (3,300m) - Taksindo Village (2,960m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Taksindo Village - Sarkaripati Village (3,430m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Sarkaripati – Saharsbeni (4,100m) - Upper Beni Village (4,200m.). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Day hiking to Dudh Kunda (4,065m.) and return to Saharsbeni. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Saharsbeni - Yak Kharka Campsite (3,400m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Yak Kharka - Lamjura La Pass (3,530m) - Taktor (2,900m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 11: Taktor Village- Pikey Peak Base Camp (Bhanjyang (4,070m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 12: Day hike to Pikey Peak (4,065m) explore, return to Pikey Peak BC. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Pikey Peak BC - Loding Village (2,515m) to Phaplu Bazar (2,413m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 14: Jeep or Bus drive back from Phaplu Bazar to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 16: Last minute, transfer to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 04: Jhapre - Pikey Base Camp (3,640m) 5-6 hours. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Pikey BC to Sunrise View at Pikey Peak (4,065m), trek to Taktor (2,900m). O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 06: Taktor Village - Junbesi Village (2,700m) and explore the Monasteries. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Thupten Choeling Monastery (2,920m), visit around. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Thupten Choeling Monastery - Shengeephuk Campsite (3,940m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 09: Shengeephuk Campsite - Saharsbeni Village (4,100m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 10: Saharsbeni Village - Dudh Kunda (Lake - 4,065m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 11: Day for explore Dudh Kunda and surrounding area. O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 12: Trek back from Dudh Kunda Lake to Thimba Chaur (3925m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge/Camping.
Day 13: Thimba Chaur - Taksindo Village (2,960m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 14: Taksindo Village - Visit Chiwang Gompa (2469m) - Phaplu Bazar (2,413m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Jeep or Bus drive back from Phaplu Bazar to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 16: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 17: Last minute, transfer to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
