A Short and Easy Trek for Stunning Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Views
The Panchase Trek offers one of the best short treks in Nepal for breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Starting from Pokhara, the Panchase Trek takes you through the middle hills of the Himalayas, providing a unique approach to the majestic Annapurna massif. This 5-day trek is considered one of Nepal's easier hikes, making it ideal for families, seniors, and travelers who prefer a more relaxed pace while still experiencing the beauty of nature.
Each day on the Panchase Trek involves short treks of around three to four hours, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views, take photos, and immerse yourself in the peaceful village life at the end of each day. The trek’s gentle pace also gives you plenty of time to connect with the local culture and witness the traditional ways of life in the Himalayan villages.
The Panchase Trek is known for its incredible biodiversity, with lush forests that are rich in flora and fauna. Much of the area is protected, and the forests are home to over 100 species of orchids, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Along the way, you’ll have stunning views of several towering peaks, including the 8000-meter giants: Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manaslu. From Panchase Peak, you can also enjoy spectacular views of other notable mountains like Machhapuchhre, Lamjung, and Gangapurna.
