Trip Overview

This is a one of the best highland and relatively easy short trek to the Annapurna Region for those who want to see the Himalayas from close but do not want to trek on the more crowded main trail. Machhapuchhre model trek is the newly opened trekking area in Annapurna conservation area. The fresh trekking trail is less crowded. Route of Machhapuchhre trekking covers seven major villages that hold huge potential for trekking and hiking activities inside hidden cultures of the rural valley. It provides Perfect Mountain views of Mt. Machhapuchhre Hiunchuli, Mardi himal and Annapurna himalayan ranges. Rich vegetation, scenic beauty of streams along with typical cultures and lifestyle of different ethnic group in the region makes really a true experience. Although some of the villages have developed local homestay targeting tourists, we make camping arrangement for entire Machhapuchhre model trek as our 6 days trekking itinerary to and from Pokhara.

The real trekking days are 5 days but total 10 and 13 days trekking itinerary is designed to explore Kathmandu and Pokhara. After your arrival in Kathmandu, we make a one extra full day stay here with sightseeing in major heritage sites and trip preparation. Drive (6 hours) or take a flight (25 minutes) to another natural city Pokhara. Our trekking then starts from here after driving 30 minutes till starting point. Our staff team including Guide cooks and supporter carries all necessary tents, food items and other equipment for Machhapuchhre trek.

Outline Trekking Itinerary: A - via Lamakhet, Riban Village

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel, trip briefing.
Day 02: Drive or, flight to Pokhara (915m) then transfers to Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Lamakhet and trek to Riban Village (Reebhan - 1,550m.). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Riban Village – Lalka Danda (Lalka Hill - 2,250m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Lalka Danda – Khumai Danda (Khumai Hill View Point - 3,245m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Day hike to Korchon Danda (Korchan - 3,682m) explore Mardi Himal BC - South. O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 07: Korchon Danda – Mirsa Gaon. (Hot Spring - 1,413m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Drive from Mirsa Gaon then drive back to Pokhara city. O/N at Hotel.
Day 09: Drive or, flight to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel, farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 10: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Drive or, flight to Pokhara (915m) then transfers to Hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Mardi Pul then trek to Riban Village (Reebhan- 1,550m) via Lachowk (1,158m). O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 05: Riban – Chichemle Kharka (2,645m) via Odane Hill (2,510m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Chichemle Kharka – Khumai Danda (Khumai Hill View Point - 3,245m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Day hike to Korchon Danda (Korchan - 3,682m) explore Mardi Himal BC - South. O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 08: Khumai Danda – Naudhoke Temple Kharka (3,699m) via Korchon. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Noudhoke Kharka to Lwangghale or Lwang-Ghalel (1,450m), drive to Pokhara. O/N at Hotel.
Day 10: Pokhara Leisure or, day sightseeing tour: Visit Shiva Statue, World Peace Pagoda (Stupa), Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Davi's Fall and International Mountain Museum.
Day 11: Drive or, flight from Pokhara – Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu for rest or shopping, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 13: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
