Ramdung Go Peak is popular trekking peak in Rolwaling Himalaya region. Ramdung Go peak climbing offers superb Himalayan scenery including the holy Gaurishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Chobabhamre, Tibetan Himalayan views. Ramdung Go Peak 5,900 metres is situated south of Na Village in the upper Rolwaling region. Ramdung Go peak climbing is one of a cluster of peaks surrounding the Yalung La which provides an access to upper Rolwaling from the south via the Khare Khola. Ramdung Go peak is an ideal summit for trekking and climbing groups as the normal route to it, through the glaciers on north-east side is straightforward. The mountain offers a panoramic view of mountain ranges from Langtang to Everest and also a splendid view of Gauri Sankar himal and Menlungtse from the Ramdung Go peak. Climbing Ramdung Go peak is technical and tough, but is not very hard if you do adequate preparations before going.
Ramdung Go peak is a mountain peak situated in the Upper Rolwaling region of Nepal that can be climbed. Also called as Ramdung Go, this peak offers a mesmerizing panorama of Himalayan ranges from Langtang to Everest. The most incredible views of Mt. Gaurishanker and Menlungtse viewed from the peak are enchanting! The summit was first climbed in 1952 by a Scottish expedition led by Bill Murray. Some of the major attractions during Ramdung peak climbing are the Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m), the hidden valley of Rolwaling, Na Village, Yalung La (Yalung Ri-5,630m), the Yalung glaciers, and several others. The climbers should have a good physical condition and great stamina. Climbing peak, crossing high passes, and walking on the Himalayan trails aren’t as easy as you think about this trip.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trip at evening.
Day 03: Jeep or Bus drive to Chhetchhet Village (1,377m) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Chhetchhet – Simigaon (Simi Village - 2,019m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Simigaun – Dugang (2,800m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Dugang – Beding Village (3,693m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Beding – Na Gaun (Village) (4,183m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Na Gaon Rest day for acclimatization and explore around. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Trek to Ramdung/Yalung Ri Peak Base Camp (4,800m) – Set up Camp. O/N at Camping.
Day 10: Ascent Ramdung Go Peak (5,900m) or, Yalung Ri (5,630m) summit – Glacier Camping.
Day 11: Contingency day, incase of bad weather, Clean BC and backpack. O/N at Camping.
Day 12: Tsho Rolpa glacier Camp – Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (4,470m). O/N at Camping.
Day 13: Tashi Lapcha Base Camp – Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m) Cave. O/N at Camping.
Day 14: Tashi Lapcha Cave Camp trek descent to Thengpo Village (3,990m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Thengpo Village – Namche Bazar (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 16: Namche Bazar – Lukla Bazar (2,860m) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu for rest and farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 19: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
Tipping System:
Tipping is done on a group-sharing basis by peak climbing participants. The minimum recommended amounts are as bellow:
1. Trek+Climbing Guide, a Cook: Min. USD 200 each.
2. BC Kitchen Boys/Helpers: Min. USD 150 each.
3. Porters: Min. USD 75 each.
