Trip Overview

Ombigaichen Peak stands at height of 6340 metres which is one of the infrequently climbed peaks is located in the eastern Himalayas and Mahalangur range in the Everest region at Solukhumbu district, Nepal. Ombigaichen Peak Climbing is an arresting mountain situated 2.3km south-east of Ama Dablam on the extended ridge that joins Ama Dablam with Baruntse. The Ombigaichen Peak rewards you with the views of Himalayan peaks like Mt. Everest (8848m.), Lhotse (9501m.), Nuptse (7879m.), Makalu (8475m.), Ama Dablam (6856m.), Baruntse (7720m.) and nameless peaks. Ombigaichen Peak was first climbed by an expedition led by Edmund Hillary. The Briton James Milledge and the Nepalese Sherpa Ang Tshering Sherpa reached the summit on November 18, 1960 over via northwest ridge. On December 3, 2002, a British expedition led by Victor Saunders was successful. She reached the summit via the south ridge.

The trip to Ombigaichen peak climbing begins after a pleasant flight to Lukla from Kathmndu and from there the track leads gradually up to Dudh Kosi River. We go across a suspension bridge and ascend up slowly towards a large hill to get to Namche Bazar then continue to Ama Dablam base camp. We, then finally we arrive at the summit of Ombigaichen Peak Base Camp.

We designed Ombigaichen Peak climbing for the peak climbing lovers and has been successful enough in maintaining good reputation to organize peak climbing trips. This 21-days Ombigaichen Peak lets you pass through Namche Bazar which is a gateway to Mt. Everest and explore almost two centuries old Tengboche monastery, and witness scenic views of several grand Himalayan peaks. Choosing to go for climbing Ombigaichen Peak during summer and autumn will be more rewarding.
