Lobuche Peak also known as 'Lobuje' is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche in Khumbu region. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East (6,119m.) and Lobuche West (6135m.). Lobuche West Peak Climbing is another perfect destination for the mountain lover. Sometime the climber confuse find right peak. Lobuche West Peak is more challenging and technical than Lobuche East, that’s why this is recognized as an expedition peak, whereas the east is known as a Trekking Peak. The Lobuche West Peak can be seen from Everest Base camp or Kalapattar as a rocky face rising above the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to an icy skyline. The popular Trekking Peak Lobuche West is an attractive summit, offering a variety of existing routes and a wide scope for new approaches. The sharp ridge and snow parts of this peak require climbers to be roped and use crampons, ice axes, and other formal climbing equipment. The team of high altitude experienced Sherpas, assistants, and guides will be of aid to the group. The first recorded ascent of Lobuche East was made by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen on April 25, 1984. Lobuche West was first climbed in 1955 via the South Shoulder.
Lobuche West Peak Climbing, we follow the classical Everest Base Camp Trekking Route, Lukla, Namche Bazar, Tenganboche and up to Pheriche and then trek to Thugla, Gorak Shep, continuing to Kala Pattar which offers great views of Everest and good acclimatization for your expedition. The Labuche West Peak is also quite striking and reached by descending into marked notches and climbing steep snow-ice slopes to the summit. This is rarely climbed and is often mistaken for Lobuje East too. Most attempts climb the summit ridge only as far as subsidiary snow top, before the notch, southeast of the true peak. The summit offers breathtaking views of the many peak as well as roof of the world, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nupse, and Makalu, Ama Dablam and other peaks. The Lobuje West Peak trip will end at the Lukla airstrip descending through the traditional trade center Namche Bazar.
