Phari Lapcha Peak (6,017m) is located in the popular Gokyo valley in the Khumbu Region, Nepal, close to village between Machharmo and Gokyo with the source of the Dubh Koshi River. Despite being a popular trekking area Phari Lapcha peak has only recently become a popular venue after being added to the permitted trekking peak list in 2002. Phari Lapcha Peak Climbing is adventurous mountain topography of Nepal boasts tremendous prospect for climbing and other thrilling stuffs. Phari Lapcha is the one with genuine and tempting alpine setting that suits for an immaculate climbing experience. The journey is greatly en suite for an exotic and striking mountaineering experience. Ascending up the trail you will find yourself in-between the extended panorama of mountains. The close up view of mountains such as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Ama Dablam, Baruntse and others will greet you all the way to summit. Phari Lapcha peak climbing itinerary has been carefully designed to allow for gradual ascend and proper acclimatization by our climbing expert. It was first ascent by the Brazilians Marcelo Rey Belo and Juliana N. Bechara Belo with several Sherpas on May 19, 2003. The ascent route led over the northwest ridge.
Phari Lapcha Peak rises from yak pastures above the village in a uniform slope to the final summit pyramid which is an undistinguished snow and ice slope. Phari Lapcha itself has two summits and the East Summit (5,977m) is slightly lower than the main top. Phari Lapcha is sometimes confused with Dawa Peak (5,920m) to the north-west of the main summits, and has been called Phari Lapcha West though it is arguably an entirely separate peak.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m), meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trip at evening.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2,860m) then trek to Phakding (2,610m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,440m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization, with a day hike to Hotel Everest View (3,790m) and the surrounding areas.
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Dole Village (4,200m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Dole Village – Machhermo Village (4,470m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Machhermo Village – Gokyo Village (Gokyo Lake 0 4,790m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 09: Ascent Gokyo Ri Peak (5,360m) and back to Gokyo Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 10: Gokyo Village – Phari Lapcha Base Camp (5,200m) – Set up Camp. O/N at Camping.
Day 11: Phari Lapcha Base Camp – High Camp (5,700). O/N at Camping.
Day 12: Ascent Phari Lapcha Peak (6,017m) Summit via North Face, decent to Gokyo. Camping
Day 13: Contingency day, incase of bad weather, Clean Base Camp and backpack. O/N at Camping/Hotel.
Day 14: Phari Lapcha Base Camp – Dole Village. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Dole Village – Namche Bazar and transfer to Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 16: Namche Bazar – Lukla Bazar then overnight at Hotel/Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Flight back from Lukla Bazar to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu for rest and farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 19: Last minute, transfers to TIA airport for your onward journey. Final Departure.
Tipping System:
Tipping is done on a group-sharing basis by peak climbing participants. The minimum recommended amounts are as bellow:
1. Trek+Climbing Guide, a Cook: Min. USD 150 each.
2. BC Kitchen Boys/Helpers: Min. USD 80 each.
3. Porters: Min. USD 40 each.
