Lobuche East Peak is standing at 6,119 metres above sea level, high above the glaciers of the Khumbu region of Nepal, Lobuche East is a significant peak, but also one of the most popular, and the easiest to climb. Lobuche east is attempted by trekking groups who come to see the spectacular view of Mount Everest and the Khumbu valley from its summit, as well as by serious 8000m mountaineers who use the peak for its acclimatization and practice benefits. Classified as a “trekking peak” it requires physical fitness and mountain awareness, but doesn’t demand much in the way of technical climbing ability. The climb is relatively straight forward with few technical hurdles. Lobuche Base Camp and high Camp both have ample space and reliable sources of water, allowing the climber to enjoy the mountain without worrying too much about the logistics.
Lobuche East (6,119m. - 20,075ft.) and Lobuche West (6,145m. - 20161ft. ) were first climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on April 25, 1984. Lobuche peak is an attractive peak offers various existing routes and also a potential for new ones. The dark triangle of its rocky East face rises over the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline, forming the south ridge. The peak of Lobuche is reached by descending a marked notch and climbing steep snowy slopes to the top. It has nerve breaking view of the Khumbu valley and its glacier.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m.), trek to Phakding (2,652m.) Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,440m.). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Namche Bazar Rest for Acclimatization.
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3,867m.)
Day 07 Tengboche – Pheriche (4,343m.)
Day 08: Pheriche – Lobuche. (4,930m.)
Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep (5,288m.) Visit Everest Base Camp (5,357m.).
Day 10: Ascent Kala Pattar (5,554m.) return Labuche Peak Base Camp-preparation.
Day 11: Ascent Lobuche Peak (6,119m.) summit decent to Dingboche (4,243m.)
Day 12: Reserve day for incase of bad weather.
Day 13: Dingboche – Tengboche.
Day 14: Tengboche – Namche Bazar.
Day 15: Namche Bazar – Lukla and transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 16: Lukla- Kathmandu by scheduled flight then transfer to Hotel.
Day 17: Kathmandu free for D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
Day 18: Last minute, transfer to Airport for onward journey.
