Mt. Peak 38 known as Shanti Shikhar peak (SHAN) is located just above to the Island Peak and height of 7,590 metres, an fantastic and beautiful Mountain of Khumbu valley and lies range of Mt. Lhotse. The 800km stretch of the Nepal Himalaya is the greatest in the world with eight peaks that rise above 8,000m including the highest in the world, Mt. Everest ever since the country opened its peaks to climbers in 1949, the Nepal Himalaya has become a great theater of mountaineering activity and the drama of success and failure have provided impetus to thousands of men and women to meet the ultimate challenge. The Nepal Himalaya has been an attraction to many people, be they saints, philosophers, researchers or, adventurers.

Early in the morning we transfer to the domestic airport where you will fly to Lukla. It happened to look many times at this mountain and was surprised of its incredible beauty. It in fact looks as a majestic white triangle hidden behind Island Peak (Imja Tse). Several routes are possible. The approach it not very difficult but it will take a few more days to reach base camp.

Outline Expedition Itinerary: Spring

02 April - Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
03 April - Day 02: Free in Kathmandu.
04 April - Day 03: Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
05 April - Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2,860m.) then trek to Phakding (2,640m.).
06 April - Day 05: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,446m).
07 April - Day 06: Rest day for acclimatization and hiking around.
08 April - Day 07: Namche – Tengboche (3,867m.).
09 April - Day 08: Tengboche – Dingboche (4,347m.).
10 April - Day 09: Dingboche – Island Peak Base Camp (4,900m. - Imja Tse Base Camp).
11 April - Day 10: Island Peak Base Camp – Peak 38 Base Camp (5,190m).
12/28 April - Day 11/27: Climbing Period for Mt. Peak 38 (7,590m.).
29 April - Day 28: Cleaning Base Camp and backpack.
30 April - Day 29: Trek back to Dingboche.
01 May - Day 30: Dingboche – Tengboche.
02 May - Day 31: Tengboche – Namche Bazar.
03 May - Day 32: Namche Bazar – Lukla then transfer to teahouse Lodge.
04 May - Day 33: Fly back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
05 May - Day 34: Free in Kathmandu, D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
06 May - Day 35: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Service Includes up to Base Camp

  • All land transportation by Car, Van or, Toyota Hiace (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up and drop).
  • 5 Nights Hotel accommodations in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast plan (before and after the expedition).
  • Schedule flight Kathmandu/Lukla/Kathmandu for member, Liaison officer and Expedition staffs.
  • Transport of food supply and expedition equipments to Base Camp & back.
  • Full board in lodges during trekking to base camp and back.
  • Base Camp single sleeping tent, Mattress for each member, BC staffs and Liaison officer.
  • All kitchen tent, store tent, dining tents, toilet tent, table, chairs and cooking utensils for Base Camp.
  • Food and fuel at Base Camp.
  • Service of Government Liaison officer.
  • Service of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp.
  • Equipments allowance, daily wages of cook, kitchen boys and Liaison officer.
  • Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison officer and porters.
  • Expedition Permit fee of Mt. Peak 38.
  • Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality entrance fee and Sagarmatha National Park entrance fee.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
  • Per Person 30 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • 2 Expedition duffel bag or barrel for each member.
  • Generator or Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging.
  • Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
  • 1 Set of Cultural Treks Piosk Oxygen bottle with mask and regulator will be in base camp in case of an emergency.
  • Visa extension fee.
  • Garbage deposit fees.
  • Official tax and agency service charge.

Service does not include

  • International airfare from/to your country.
  • Nepal entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport at upon arrival).
  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above Base Camp.
  • High Tents above Base Camp.
  • High altitude food and fuel above Base Camp.
  • Oxygen Bottle with Mask and regulator (will be provided as per request).
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation and lost luggage.
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, Walkie-Talkies, Communication equipment and commercial filming.
  • International airport departure tax at Kathmandu Airport.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone etc.
  • Tips and bonus.

Expedition service up to Summit

Expedition service does not include

Extra Cost for High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: USD 1900 for group sharing basis (if required by client)

Note:

  • We will provide you the expedition cost as per your size of group or, as per your requirement for the expedition service. We request you to e-mail us or, use "Book Expedition" form for send us your message.
  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu and sleeping tents at BC etc.

Summit Bonus: Camp 7000m. = USD 500 and over 7000m. to summit= USD 400 = 900 USD extra payable for per climbing Sherpa on the spot.
