Mt. Dhampus Peak is stand at height of 6,012 metres known as Thapa Peak situated in the Dhaualagiri region the northern side of the wildest valley of Nepal (hidden valley) and along with Kaligandaki River flow its bottom. It is an easy mountain to ascend and one of the best places from which to observe the stunning scenery of the Himalayas. Dhampus Peak is an interesting peak for climbers in the North-East of the big Dhaulagiri massif and it is an easy trekking peak to ascent for climbers. The route to Dhampus Peak follows the west-ridge, which connects Dhampus Pass (5,200m.), where we will set up our high camp. Though this expedition exceeds the 6000-meter frontier, no technical climbing skills are required. However, experience walking on snow and ice is a must. Dhanpus Peak Climbing is depending on how fast the climbers can acclimatize, it takes about one to one and half a week to climb Dhampus Peak. If you want to get an easy experience of mountaineering in a region where a few climbers venture, choose Dhampus Peak.

The overwhelming altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make Dhampus Peak a very exposed spot to observe the scenery from and having Tukuche Peak (6920m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) spectacularly near you enjoy the feeling of being part of the extreme altitudes of the Himalayas. This peak provides you more than thirty mountains views like Dhaulagiri I (8163m.), Sita Chuchura (6611m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Tukche Peak (6920m.), Tilicho Peak (7134m.), Thorong Peak (6484m.), Yakawa Kan (6482m.), Puth Hiunchuli (7246m.), Mukut Himal (6639m.), Tangu Peak (6197m.), Hongde Peak (6556m.), Tsarste (6347m.) and more snow capped mountains and as well as Dhaulagiri glacier and deepest gorge of the world. Our 21 days climb starts from Dhaulagiri French pass or 17 days from Tukuche or Marpha village, from where you will ascend 3500 meters to the peak.
