Trip Overview

A newly developed trekking trail, the Kori Danda Trek features impressive views of snow-capped peaks and winds through lush forests of oak and rhododendron. The journey through the Kori–Sikles region reveals spectacular panoramas of the Pokhara Valley, the villages of Tangting and Sikles, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and the Lamjung range. The hike showcases pristine natural beauty and ranges from easy to moderate in difficulty.

If you're looking for stunning mountain vistas and breathtaking scenery in the Annapurna region, the Kori Danda Trek is an ideal option - especially for beginners. Although there are only a few homestays along the relatively challenging Kori Kaski route, the journey is filled with exciting discoveries. This trek start from Pokhara to Kori Danda offers a genuine experience of the trekking spirit in Nepal. The region is predominantly inhabited by the Ghale and Gurung communities. These ethnic groups follow both Buddhism and Bon Po, a spiritual tradition that honors nature. Unlike other ethnicities in Nepal, the Gurung and Ghale people have distinctive languages and rich cultural traditions.
