Mt. Ratna Chuli stand at height of 7,035 meter located between the border of Nepal and Tibet (China) in north of the Annapurna and Manaslu region, majestically situated above the Tibetan village of Phu Gaon in the western region of Nepal. Since the first opening of the Nar Phu Valley of western Nepal in 2000, there have been very few mountaineering expedition teams are enter this valley for climb the mountain. Mount Ratna Chuli lies in a ridge running in a west-east direction, which forms the state border and the watershed between Yarlung Tsangpo in the north and Marsyangdi in the south. 11,83 km to the west is the (6889m.) high Lugula Himal. Ratna Chuli first ascent in 1996 by a Japanese-Nepalese expedition (Santa Bahadur Ale, Durga Bahadur Tamang, Tul Bahadur Tamang (Nepal), Katsuhiko Sawada and Osamu Tanabe (Japan) successfully climbed Ratna Chuli over the west Ridge.

Mt. Ratna Chuli expedition start from Kathmandu, six hour scenic drive takes us Besi Shahar where we stop for overnight. Our trek commences from the classic Annapurna circuit route till Koto by local Jeep or Bus and then leaves towards the route Dharmasala, then to Nar Phu Valley, Kyang, Phu village where we spend one day extra for proper acclimatization and local exploration. Next day we reach to the Ratna Chuli Base Camp. After setting up the Base Camp our strong team of staffs set up various camps, members have the chance to going up and down for proper acclimatization and we attempt summit on a favorable day for everyone. Mount Ratna Chuli expedition is tremendously delightful and fine acclimatization tramp to develop achievement in your fantasizing strategy to expedition above seven thousand meters, consequently, we ensure truly respectable experiences staff member who will be handling your trip in Nepal.

29 March - Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
30 March - Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
31 March - Day 03: Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
01 April - Day 04: Kathmandu to Besishahar (823m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
02 April - Day 05: Besishahar – Dharapani (1,943m.). by local jeep or Bus O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
03 April - Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Koto Village (2,600m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
04 April - Day 07: Koto – Meta (3,560m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
05 April - Day 08: Meta – Chako (Chaka). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
06 April - Day 09: Chako – Phu Gaon (4,030m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
07 April - Day 10: Phu Gaon rest for explore and acclimatization.
08 April - Day 11: Phu Gaon – Ratna Chuli Base Camp (4,842m.). Tented Camp.
09/20 April - Day 12/23: Climbing periods for Mt. Ratna Chuli (7,035m.).
21 April - Day 24: Clean up Base Camp and Preparation back packing.
22 April - Day 25: Trek back from Ratna Chuli BC to Phu Village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
23 April - Day 26: Phu Gaon – Meta village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
24 April - Day 27: Meta – Koto village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
25 April - Day 28: Drive back to Besishahar. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
26 April - Day 29: Drive to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
27 April - Day 30: Free in Kathmandu, D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
28 April - Day 31: Last minute, transfers to airport for onward journey.

Service Includes up to Base Camp

  • All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up and drop).
  • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed and breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff & Liaison officer.
  • Transportation of all food, climbing equipments to base camp and back.
  • Peak permit fee of Ratna Chuli.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs, tables at the base camp.
  • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
  • Base camp tents for members and staff.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Equipment’s luggage/barrels allowed till to Base Camp.
  • Equipment allowance, wages, insurance for base camp staff and Liaison officer.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
  • Per Person 30 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • National Park Conservation Fee (Acap).
  • Satellite phone (Pay calls).
  • 1 Set of Cultural Treks Piosk Oxygen bottle with mask and regulator will be in base camp in case of an emergency.
  • Helicopter rescue insurance for Nepalese staff.

  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.

  • Nepal custom duty for import of expedition goods arriving to Nepal by air or road.

Extra Cost for High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: USD 1500 for group sharing basis (if required by client)

Note:

  • We will provide you the expedition cost as per your size of group or, as per your requirement for the expedition service. We request you to e-mail us or, use "Book Expedition" form for send us your message.
  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu and sleeping tents at BC etc.

Summit Bonus: Camp 6000m. = USD 500 and over 6000m. to summit = USD 200 = 700 USD extra payable for per climbing Sherpa on the spot.
