Mt. Gyaji Kang Expedition is one of the most popular destinations that follow through the remote Tibetan settlements villages of Nar and Phu near to the border between Tibet and Nepal northern part of Manang district. This trail passes along the one of the most popular trekking destination of Annapurna circuit trekking route. Its is about 300 inhabitants who depend on livestock, unlike most Bhotia people, whose trading patterns changed drastically after the Nepali Government closed borders with Tibet, the people of Nar and Phu valley were least affected by this change.
For the approach of the Gyajikang base camp, there are several routes such as direct route from Kathmandu to Nar and Phu as well as Marshyangdi River from Besi Shahar. As being one of the most popular trekking adventure trekking trails it offers best opportunity to experience Tibetan settlements settlement off influenced culture, tradition, the most striking landscape of Manang Valley and an ancient remarkable monastery and an incredible massif Himalayan ranges. Apart from the odd researcher and climbing expeditions permitted to climb Mt. Gyajikang, Himlung, Ratna Chuli and Mt. Kang Guru.

08 April - Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trip at evening.
09 April - Day 03: Official works for expedition and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.
10 April - Day 04: Drive to Besi Shahar (823m) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
11 April - Day 05: Drive to Koto Village (2,713m) then transfer to Tea house Lodge.
12 April - Day 06: Koto – Daramsala (3,560m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
13 April - Day 07: Daramsala – Phu Gaon (4,030m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
14 April - Day 08: Phu Gaon – Gyaji Kang Base camp (4,853m). O/N at Camping.
15/24 April - Day 09/18: Climbing Period for Mt. Gyaji Kang (7,038m) - Full Camping.
25 April - Day 19: Base Camp Clean up and backpack. O/N at Camping.
26 April - Day 20: Trek back to Meta/Daramsala (1,943m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
27 April - Day 21: Meta/Daramsala – Koto Village. (1,943m). O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
28 April - Day 22: Koto Village – Besi Shahar then transfer to Hotel.
29 April - Day 23: Drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
30 April - Day 24: Kathmandu free for D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
01 May - Day 25: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

Tipping System:
Tipping is done on a group-sharing basis by expedition participants. The minimum recommended amounts are:
1. Base Camp Guide & Cook: Min. USD 300 each.
2. BC Kitchen Boys/Helpers: Min. USD 200 each.
3. Porters: Min. USD 50 each.

Note for expedition participants:
Expedition service up to Base Camp: This applies to those who have booked the expedition service - up to Base Camp. The cost does not include the High Altitude (H. A.) Sherpa guide, food and fuel, tents, climbing gear, fixed ropes up to the summit, or the Sherpa’s bonus beyond Advance Base Camp.Additional Cost for High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: USD 2,100 (If required by client)
The additional cost for a High Altitude Climbing Sherpa (H. A.) includes: Expedition equipment allowance, Personal climbing gears, daily wages, food and fuel from base camp to summit, helicopter rescue coverage, medical expenses, accident insurance for the Sherpa, all ground transportation and a personal sleeping tent at base camp, among other essentials.
Summit Bonus for High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: USD 500 for reaching Camp at 6,000m, plus USD 400 for climbing from 6,000m to the summit - total USD 900. This amount is payable on the spot (ABC) by the climbing member and applies only to those climber who purchase expedition services - up to summit.
