The Gangapurna expedition starts from Kathmandu after your arrival. From there you will have a scenic drive to Besisahar. You will then trek to Chame, Pisang, and finally to Manang valley. You will then trek to Gangapurna base camp. From base camp to the summit there will be usually 15-20 days where you will rest and camp and acclimatize in the region. There are 3 camps in between summit and base camp where you will proceed forward with rest and acclimatization. This is a steady process of advancement and you will all be followed in a designated path. Sherpa people will do all the hard work from carrying the necessary equipment and gear to the setting up the camps. They will moreover advance by setting up the ropes and ladders in between glaciers, crevasses and steep climbing. After the ascend and summit, you will take the way back via Thorung la pass, Muktinath and finally to Jomsom city. From here you will fly in to Pokhara and then ultimately reach to Kathmandu via flight or drive based on your preference.
