Ramdung Peak Climbing well known as 'Ramdung Go Peak' is popular trekking peak in Rolwaling Himalaya region. Ramdung peak climbing offers superb Himalayan scenery including the holy Gaurishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Chobabhamre, Tibetan Himalayan views. Ramdung Peak 5900 metres is situated south of Na Village in the upper Rolwaling region. Ramdung peak climbing is one of a cluster of peaks surrounding the Yalung La which provides an access to upper Rolwaling from the south via the Khare Khola. Ramdung peak is an ideal summit for trekking and climbing groups as the normal route to it, through the glaciers on north-east side is straightforward. The mountain offers a panoramic view of mountain ranges from Langtang to Everest and also a splendid view of Gauri Sankar himal and Menlungtse from the Ramdung peak. Climbing Ramdung peak is technical and tough, but is not very hard if you do adequate preparations before going.

Ramdung peak is a mountain peak situated in the Upper Rolwaling region of Nepal that can be climbed. Also called as Ramdung Go, this peak offers a mesmerizing panorama of Himalayan ranges from Langtang to Everest. The most incredible views of Mt. Gaurishanker and Menlungtse viewed from the peak are enchanting! The summit was first climbed in 1952 by a Scottish expedition led by Bill Murray. Some of the major attractions during Ramdung peak climbing are the Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m.), the hidden valley of Rolwaling, Na Village, Yalung La (Yalung Ri-5,630m.), the Yalung glaciers, and several others. The climbers should have a good physical condition and great stamina. Climbing peak, crossing high passes, and walking on the Himalayan trails aren’t as easy as you think about this trip.

Outline Peak Climbing Itinerary: Spring & Autumn

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free, preparation and Official briefing.
Day 03: Drive to Gonger (1,440m.) transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Gongar – Simigaun (2,019m.) (Simi Village)
Day 05: Simigaun – Dugang (2,800m.).
Day 06: Dugang – Beding Village (3693m.)
Day 07: Beding – Na Gaun (Village) (4,183m.)
Day 08: Na Gaun – Ramdung or, Yalung Ri Peak Base Camp (4,800m.)
Day 09: Ascent Ramdung Peak (5,900m.) - Yalung Ri (5,630m.) summit - Glacier Camp
Day 10: Tsho Rolpa glacier camp - Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (4470m.)
Day 11: Tashi Lapcha BC – Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m.) Cave Camp.
Day 12: Tashi Lapcha Cave Camp – Thengpo Village (3,990m.).
Day 13: Thengpo – Namche Bazar (3,440m.)
Day 14: Namche Bazar – Lukla (2,800m.) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight then transfers to Hotel.
Day 16: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 17: Last minute transfers to airport for onward journey.
