Muktinath is one of the world's classic pilgrimages trekking around the entire Annapurna range

Muktinath is a one of famous pilgrimage center for Buddhist and Hindus. The shrines include a Buddhist Gompa and the Vishnu temple Jwala Mai. An old temple nearby shelter spring and natural gas jets, which provide Muktinath with the famous eternal flame. Jomsom is the only place along the Annapurna circuit, which is connected by air with Pokhara and Kathmandu. It is also the district headquarters of Mustang, which includes part of the legendary Mustang and the Muktinath Region. Muktinath trekking begins from Jomsom and trails will be easy to go to along the Kaligandaki River and reach to village of Kagbeni, a Tibetan influenced settlement close to Lo-Manthang, the capital of what use to be the old principality of Mustang.

From Kagbeni village the trail climbs steeply to rejoin the regular trial before Khingar is reached. A further climb brings you to Jharkot then Ranipauwa, the accommodation area of Muktinath (3,710m.), where we can see most impressive views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Thapa peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri north and Tilicho Peak.

Outline Trek Itinerary: A

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free, briefing for trekking at evening.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (915m.) by tourist Bus then transfers to Hotel.
Day 04: Fly or drive to Jomsom (2,750m.) then trek to Kagbeni.
Day 05: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,802m.) over night at Rani Pouwa.
Day 06: Explore around Muktinath Temple and back to Jomsom.
Day 07: Jomsom to Tukuche (2,591m.)
Day 08: Tukuche to Tatopani (1,189m.)
Day 09: Tatopani – Ghorepani (,2855m.)
Day 10: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3,210m.) – Ulleri then drive to Pokhara and transfers to Hotel.
Day 11: Pokhara free for rest.
Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for onward journey.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul then trek to Tirkhedhunga (1,577m.)
Day 04: Tirkhedhunga – Ghorepani (2,855m.)
Day 05: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3,210m.) – Tatopani (1,189m.)
Day 06: Tatopani – Ghasa (2,013m.)
Day 07: Ghasa – Tukuche (2,591m.)
Day 08: Tukuche – Jomsom (2,713m.)
Day 09: Jomsom – Muktinath (3,802m.) O/N at Rani Pouwa.
Day 10: Explore Muktinath then continue walk back to Jomsom.
Day 11: Jomsom – Pokhara by flight or drive then transfer to Hotel.
Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 14: Last minute, transfers to airport for onward journey.

Cost Includes

  • All land transportation by Car, Jeep, Toyota Hiace and tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 3 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, at Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • 3 Major meals a day; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
  • One professional English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
