One of the world's new treks around the Annapurna range of Kopra ridge
Adventure Khair trek known as a Kopra Ridge will bring you well off the beaten trail, on to long, remote mountain ridges, through exposit forest and to visit traditional villages. Views of the Annapurna and the gigantic mass of Mt. Dhaulagiri are utterly breathtaking and complement many of our phenomenal campsites during this classic two week treks.
From Pokhara we drive to Nayapul and Ghandruk village towards Gurung and Magar village. As we move higher through the rhododendron woodlands the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre are astounding. On reaching Kopra Ridge our campsite is right below Mt. Annapurna I. From here we walk up to the sacred lake above Kair, a marvelous alpine experience. The trek back to Pokhara takes us via Ghorepani, Poon Hill (3,210m.) for one of the most famous panoramas in the Annapurna range.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free. Briefing about trekking at evening.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara (916m.) by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and Ghandrung Village (1,951m.).
Day 05: Ghandrung – Tadapani (2,700m.)
Day 06: Tadapani – Dobato (3,350m.).
Day 07: Dobato – Chistibung (3,000m.).
Day 08: Chistibung – Kopra Hill (3,640m.).
Day 09: Hiking up to Khair/Kopra Lake (4,827m.) for explore.
Day 10: Kopra – Sautha (2,400m.)
Day 11: Sautha – Ghorepani (2,855m.)
Day 12: Hiking to Poon Hill (3,210m.) trek to Ulleri (2,073m.) then drive to Pokhara.
Day 13: Pokhara – Kathmandu by tourist bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 14: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.
