Mera Peak ClimbingThis trek can be start from Lukla where the trekking trails enter the highest valley in the world to begin your journey to the base of Mt. Makalu, the fifth highest mountain in the world (8,481m).The route offers opportunity to explore cloud-forest jungle, high alpine terrain, orchids and rural farm and market villages and cross along the Pass yak pastures towards the endless ice fields of Mt. Makalu, Baruntse and Sherpini col. In the lower of this region are dominated Rai, Sherpa, and Shingsawa (Bhotia) farmers. They are the preserver of unique biological and cultural resources of the area. The forest of the region shelters the endangered red panda and musk deer, Ghoral, Himalayan Tahr and leopard and more than 400 bird species, at least 16 of which are extremely rare. Sherpini col pass trekking is considered as the most difficult and challenging pass trekking of the world. It is one of the most adventures trek in the Himalaya only for experienced hikers or climbers.

Everest can be viewed to the north over the massive unclimbed south face of Lhotse and the Nuptse/Lhotse ridge. Under favorable conditions, it is possible to climb the peak and descend back on the same day.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day for preparation and official briefing.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2860m. then trek to Chutanga (3173m.).
Day 04: Cross Zatrwa La (4610m.) and trek to Thuli Kharka (4400m.).
Day 05: Thuli Kharka - Tashi Dingma (3520m. - 11549ft).
Day 06: Tashi Dingma - Tangnag (4350m. - 14272ft).
Day 07: Tangnag - Khare (5100m. - 16733ft).
Day 08: Rest day in Khare for acclimatization.
Day 09: Climb to Mera-La (5415m. - 17767ft).
Day 10: Climb to High Camp (5800m. - 19030ft).
Day 11: Mera Peak 6,654m. Summit, Mera-La Pass-Kangme Dingma.
Day 12: Kangme Dingma – Seto Pokhari (5003m.- 16,409 feet).
Day 13: Seto Pokhari – Baruntse Base Camp (5300m.-17,400 feet).
Day 14: Baruntse Case Camp. – West Col Pass (6143m.).
Day 15: West Col Pass – Sherpini Col (6150m.).- Makalu Base Camp 4870m.
Day 16: Makalu Base Camp - Yangla Kharka. 3557m. 6/7 hrs.
Day 17: Yangla Kharka - Dobato. 3500m. 6/7 hrs.
Day 18: Dobato - Khongma Danda. 3500m. 5/6 hrs.
Day 19: Khongma Danda - Tashi Gaon. 2100m. 4/5 hrs.
Day 20: Tashi Gaon - Seduwa. 1500m. 4/5 hrs.
Day 21: Seduwa - Num. 1040m. 4/5 hrs.
Day 22: Num - Tumlingtar via Chichila by drive 1980m. 6/7 hrs.
Day 23: Tumlingtar - Kathmandu by flight 1380m. 50 min, O/N at Hotel.
Day 24: Kathmandu free.
Day 25: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:

  • Land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace, tourist Bus(Airport/Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop).
  • 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • All 3 major meals Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (provide varieties continental food by Lodge menu), accommodation in teahouse lodge and tented camp during the trek en-route. (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent and Kitchen utensil etc.).
  • 1 professional equipped English speaking trekking + Climbing guide, Cook, necessary Sherpa and Porter.
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Equipment charges for the climbing guide.
  • Trekking Equipment for all crew.
  • Per member 15 Kg. luggages allow while in the trekking & Peak climbing.
  • Snow bars and enough rope for the climbing as well as tented camp while on climbing to Mera Peak.
  • Special Trekking permit, Peak Permits,Khumbu area entrance fee, Sagarmatha and Makalu Barun National Park permits fees and garbage deposit.
  • Medical Kit Box for Nepali support crews.
  • Air Ticket: Kathmandu/Lukla/Tumlingtar/Kathmandu with airport tax & luggage cargo fees.
