Ratna Chulu Peak ClimbingMt. Ratna Chuli 7035m. located between the border of Nepal and Tibet (China) in north of the Annapurna and Manaslu region, majestically situated above the Tibetan village of Phu in the western region of Nepal. Since the first opening of the Nar Phu  Valley of western Nepal in 2000, there have been very few mountaineering expedition teams are enter this valley for climb the mountain.

 

Mt. Ratna Chuli ExpeditionFrom Kathmandu, six hour scenic drive takes us Besi Shahar and Khudi village and after 30 minute walk we reach Bhulbhule for overnight. Our trek commences from the classic Annapurna circuit route till Koto and then leaves towards the route Dharmasala, then to Nar – Phu Valley, Kyang, Phu village where we spend one day extra for proper acclimatization and local exploration.

29 March Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
30 March Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
31 March Day 03: Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
01 April Day 04: Kathmandu to Besihahar (823m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
02 April Day 05: Besishahar – Dharapani (1,943m.). by local jeep or Bus O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
03 April Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Koto Village (2,600m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
04 April Day 07: Koto – Meta (3,560m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
05 April Day 08: Meta – Chako (Chaka). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
06 April Day 09: Chako – Phu Gaon (4,030m.). O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
07 April Day 10: Phu Gaon rest for explore and acclimatization.
08 April Day 11: Phu Gaon – Ratna Chuli Base Camp (4,842m.). Tented Camp.
09 April Day 12 – 23: Climbing periods for Mount Ratna Chuli (7,035m.).
20 April Day 24: Clean up Base Camp and Preparation back packing.
21 April Day 25: Trek back from Ratna Chuli BC to Phu Village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
22 April Day 26: Phu Gaon – Meta village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
23 April Day 27: Meta – Koto village. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
24 April Day 28: Drive back to Besishahar. O/N at Tea-house Lodge.
25 April Day 29: Drive to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
26 April Day 30: Free in Kathmandu, D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
27 April Day 31: Last minute, transfers to airport for onward journey.

Expedition Cost: Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis:

USD           Per Person.

 

  • We will provide you the expedition cost as per your size of group or, as per your requirement for the expedition service. We request you to e-mail us or, use "Book Expedition" form for send us your message.
  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 1500. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

 

Service includes:   

  • All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up and drop).
  • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff & Liaison officer.
  • Transportation of all food & climbing equipments to base camp & back.
  • Peak permit fee of Ratna Chuli.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs, tables at the base camp.
  • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
  • Base camp tents for members and staff.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Equipment’s luggage/barrels allowed till to Base Camp.
  • Equipment allowance, wages & insurance for base camp staff & Liaison officer.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
  • Per Person 30 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • National Park Conservation Fee (Acap).
  • Satellite phone (Pay calls).
  • Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator.
  • Helicopter rescue insurance for Nepalese staff.
  • Visa extension.
  • Garbage deposit fees.
  • Official tax and agency service charge.

 

Service does not include:

  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Airfare from/to your country.
  • Nepal entry visa fee. (Can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Visa extension.
  • Hotel after 5 nights stay in Kathmandu.
  • Service above Base Camp.
  • Drinks except tea and coffee.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, Walkie-Talkies, Communication equipment & commercial filming.
  • Oxygen & Mask -regulator for climbing.
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
  • Nepal custom duty for import of expedition goods arriving to Nepal by air or road.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone, etc.
  • International airport departure tax & tourist tax.
  • Tips and summit bonus.

 

Summit Bonus: Camp 7000m. = USD 500 & over 7000m. to summit= USD 400 = 900 USD extra payable for per climbing Sherpa on the spot.
