Mt. Manaslu Advance Base CampMt. Manaslu is lies in the western part of Nepal, north side of Gorkha district along the Kali Gandaki valley. This mountain was previously known as Kutan l. 'tang' being the Tibetan word for flat place, thereby describing the mountain's general summit. It was then renamed Manaslu which comes from the Sanskrit word "Manasa" meaning "intellect" or "soul". It was first climbed by Mr. Tashio. Imanishi of Japan on May 09, 1956 via North East Face route. There exist half a dozen different routes on Manaslu today. The south face of this ‘Mountain of intellect’ is arguably the toughest in climbing history as well as peak 29 is very famous located in this area too.

25 March Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport, meet our staff then transer to Hotel.
26 March Day 02: Official works and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.
27 March Day 03: Drive to Soti Khola 1165m. 6/7hrs. O/N at Lodge.
28 March Day 04: Trek to Machha Khola 1330m. 5hrs. O/N at Lodge.
29 March Day 05: Trek to Jagat 1350m. 6hrs. O/N at Lodge.
30 March Day 06: Trek to Ngyak 2300m. 5hrs. O/N at Lodge.
31 March Day 07: Trek to Namrung 2550m. 6hrs. O/N at Lodge.
01 April Day 08: Trek to Syalla village 3150m. 5hrs. O/N at Lodge.
02 April Day 09: Trek to Sama Gaon 3780m. 4hrs. O/N at Lodge.
03 April Day 10: Rest & acclimatization day at Sama Gaon. O/N at Lodge.
04 April Day 11: Trek to Manaslu Base Camp 4700m. 4hrs. set up camping.
05 April-30 April Day 12-37: Climbing period & summit Manaslu (8163m.)
01 May Day 38: Clean Base Camp, backpack for return to Kathmandu.
02 May Day 39: Trek back to Sama Gaon. O/N at Lodge.
03 May Day 40: Trek to Namrung 2550m. 5hrs. O/N at Lodge.
04 May Day 41: Trek to Philim village 2300m. 6hrs. O/N at Lodge.
05 May Day 42: Trek to Machha Khola 1330m. O/N at Lodge.
06 May Day 43: Trek to Soti Khola & drive to Arughat 950m. O/N at Lodge.
07 May Day 44: Drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel. 7hrs.
08 May Day 45: Free for D-briefing and rest, farewell dinner at evening.
09 May Day 46: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

Expedition Cost for Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis:
USD 6,200 Per Person

Expedition Cost for Service up to summit: USD 8,900 Per Person.

 

  • We will provide you the expedition cost as per your size of group or, as per your requirement for the expedition service. We request you to e-mail us or, use "Book Expedition" form for send us your message.
  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 2000. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

 

Service Includes up to Base Camp

  • All land transportation by Toyota Hiace, Local Jeep or Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop).
  • 4 Nights Hotel accommodations in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast plan (before and after the expedition).
  • Transport of food supply and expedition equipments to Base Camp and back.
  • Full board in lodges during trekking to base camp and back.
  • Base Camp single sleeping tent & Mattress for each member, BC staffs & Liaison officer.
  • All kitchen tent, store tent, dining tents, toilet tent, table and chairs & cooking utensils for Base Camp.
  • Food and fuel at Base Camp.
  • Service of Government Liaison officer.
  • Service of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp.
  • Equipments allowance, daily wages of cook, kitchen boy & Liaison officer.
  • Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison officer and porters.
  • Expedition Permit fee of Mt. Manaslu.
  • Manaslu Conservation Permits (ACAP entrance fee).
  • Per Person 50 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • 2 Expedition duffel bag or barrel for each member.
  • Generator or Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging.
  • Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
  • Emergency medical Oxygen at Base Camp.
  • Visa extension fee.
  • Garbage deposit fees.
  • Official tax and agency service charge.

  • Nepal entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport at upon arrival).
  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu & Pokhara.
  • Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above Base Camp.
  • High Tents above Base Camp.
  • High altitude food and fuel above Base Camp.
  • Oxygen & Mask and regulator (will be provided as per request).
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation & lost luggage.
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, communication equipment & commercial filming.

Summit Bonus: Camp 8000m. = USD 500 & over 8000m. to summit= USD 500 = 1000 USD extra payable for climbing Sherpa on the spot.

Note: We suggest our every climber to hire the Heli Copter Charter for transport the whole gears needed for expedition from Kathmandu/Sama Gompa/Kathmandu due to the caravan trail start from Gorkha and Dhading.
