    Mt. Ratna Chuli ExpeditionMt. Ratna Chuli 7035m. located between the border of Nepal and Tibet in north of the Annapurna and Manaslu region, it is situated above the Tibetan village of Phu Gaon in the western region of Nepal. Since the first opening of the Nar Phu  Valley of western Nepal in 2000, there have been very few mountaineering expedition teams are enter this valley for climb the mountain.

     

    Ratna Chuli ExpeditionsFrom Kathmandu, six hour scenic drive takes us Besi Shahar and Khudi village and after 30 minute walk we reach Bhulbhule for overnight. Our trek commences from the classic Annapurna circuit route till Koto and then leaves towards the route Dharmasala, then to Nar – Phu Valley, Kyang, Phu village where we spend one day extra for proper acclimatization and local exploration.

    • Accommodation: 5 Nights Kathmandu, 28 Nights Teahouse Lodge/Camping
    • Recommended Season: Spring, Autumn & Winter


    Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
    Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
    Day 03: Official work for expedition & briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
    Day 04: Kathmandu to Khudi and overnight at Bhulbhule.
    Day 05: Besi Shahar – Ngadi.
    Day 06: Ngadi – Jagat 1314m.
    Day 07: Jagat – Dharapani (1943m.).
    Day 08: Dharapani – Koto (2700m.)
    Day 09: Koto – Meta.
    Day 10: Meta – Chako (Chaka).
    Day 11: Chako – Phu Gaon.
    Day 12: Phu Gaon rest for explore and acclimatization.
    Day 13: Phu Gaon – Ratna Chuli Base Camp.
    Day 14 – 25: Climbing periods for Mt. Ratna Chuli 7035m.
    Day 26: Clean up Base Camp and Preparation.
    Day 27: Ratna Chuli Base Camp – Phu Gaon.-Village.
    Day 28: Phu Gaon – Meta.
    Day 29: Meta – Koto.
    Day 30: Koto – Tal.
    Day 31: Tal  – Jagat 1136m. then transfer to teahouse.
    Day 32: Drive to Kathmandu then transfers to Hotel.
    Day 33: Free day in Kathmandu.
    Day 34: Last minute, transfers to airport for onward journey.

    Expedition Cost:

    Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis: USD    Per Person.

     

    • We will provide you the expedition cost as per your size of group or, as per your requirement for the expedition service. We request you to e-mail us or, use "Book Expedition" form for send us your message.
    • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
    • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 1500. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

     

    Service includes:   

    • All land transportation by Car, Van, Toyota Hiace or local Jeep/Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop).
    • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
    • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff & Liaison officer.
    • Transportation of all food & climbing equipments to base camp & back.
    • Peak permit fee of Ratna Chuli.
    • Full board basis during the trekking.
    • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs, tables at the base camp.
    • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
    • Base camp tents for members and staff.
    • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
    • Per Person 30 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
    • Equipment allowance, wages & insurance for base camp staff & Liaison officer.
    • National Park Conservation Fee (Acap).
    • Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use. (Pay calls).
    • 2 Expedition duffel bag or, barrel for each member.
    • Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator.
    • Insurance for Nepalese staff.
    • Visa extension.
    • Garbage deposit fees.
    • Official taxes and agency service charge.

     

    Service does not include:

    • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
    • Airfare from/to your country.
    • Nepal entry visa fee. (Can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
    • Visa extension.
    • Hotel after 5 nights stay in Kathmandu.
    • Service above Base Camp.
    • Drinks except tea and coffee.
    • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
    • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, Walkie-Talkies, Communication equipment & commercial filming.
    • Oxygen bottles with mask and regulator-Poisk Oxygen System (available on requst).
    • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
    • Nepal custom duty for import of expedition goods arriving to Nepal by air or road.
    • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone, etc.
    • International airport departure tax & tourist tax.
    • Tips and summit bonus.

    Summit Bonus: Camp 7000m. = USD 500 & over 7000m. to summit= USD 400 = 900 USD extra payable for per climbing Sherpa on the spot
