Lho-La Peak (Khumbu Tse) ExpeditionLho La Peak 6036m. (Khumbutse Peak) is the first mountain to the west of Everest, located between Nepal and Tibet border and near to Changtse or Everest Base Camp at Khumbu Region as well as this is a regular avalanche spot and would appear to be very close to the route between Everest Base Camp (EBC) and the Ice Fall. 86.est months for climbing: September, October.  In comparison with Everest it is nothing, but in itself it is a nice peak. To the west are two other mountains: Lingtren and Pumori. Though the mountain has steep sides on all sides it is for a large part covered in snow and ice. Trekking and climbing groups on the Lho Lha pass frequently report avalanches on this mountain. Dutch climber Bart Vos ascended this mountain for the first time in 1993, according to one of his books.

The route towards the starting point to the steep rocks and mixed gully’s of ice and snow. There will be some turning points on the route because of crevasses, slope mixed ice and rock walls, which makes long distance of the climbing period as well. According to our expedition itinerary the expedition starts from Lukla after scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu and approximately 8 days trekking to Lho La Base Camp.
