    Gangapurna ExpeditionMt. Gangapurna is a beautiful mountain lies in the Annapurna Himalayan range which is close to Manang village of Annapurna trail. From Kathmandu, six hour scenic drive takes us Besi Shahar and Khudi village and after 30 minute walk we reach Bhulbhule. Mt. Gangapurna 7455 meter was first climbed in 1965 by a German expedition led by Günther Hauser via the East face Ridge. The summit party comprised 11 members of the expedition.

    Expedition Itinerary:

    • Hotel/Lodges/Camping
    • 35 Days Trek/Climbing
    • Food: Included except main meals in Kathmandu
    • Accommodation: 5 Nights Ktm., 2 Pokhara & 33 Nights Lodge/Camping
    • Recommended Season: Spring, Autumn & Winter


    Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
    Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.
    Day 03: Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
    Day 04: Drive to Beshisahar and Jagat. O/N at teahouse Lodge.
    Day 05: Jagat – Dharapani.
    Day 06: Dharapani – Chame Village.
    Day 07: Chame – Pisang.
    Day 08: Pisang – Braga –Manang.
    Day 09:  Rest day for acclimatization.
    Day 10: Manang – Gangapurna Base Camp.
    Day 11- 33: Climbing Period of Gangapurna 7455m.
    Day 34: Trek back to Manang village.
    Day 35: Manang – Thorung La High Camp.
    Day 36: High camp – Thorung La 5416m. – Muktinath.
    Day 37: Muktinath – Jomsom.
    Day 38: Fly to Pokhara then transfer to Hotel.
    Day 39: Pokhara free for relax.
    Day 40: Drive to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
    Day 41: Free day in Kathmandu.
    Day 42: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

    Expedition Cost:

    Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis:

    USD 5,600 Per Person.

    • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
    • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 1900. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

    • All land transportation by Car, Van, Toyota Hiace or local Jeep/ Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop).
    • 5 Nights Hotel accommodations in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel & 2 night in Pokhara on Bed & Breakfast plan (before & after expedition).
    • Transport of food supply and expedition equipments to Base Camp & back.
    • Full board in lodges during trekking to base camp and back.
    • Base Camp single sleeping tent & Mattress for each member, BC staffs & Liaison officer.
    • All kitchen tent, store tent, dining tents, toilet tent, table, chairs & cooking utensils for Base Camp.
    • Food and fuel at Base Camp.
    • Service of Government Liaison officer.
    • Service of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp.
    • Equipments allowance, daily wages of cook, kitchen boys & Liaison officer.
    • Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison officer and porters.
    • Expedition Permit fee of Mt. Gangapurna.
    • National Park Permits (ACAP entrance fee).
    • Schedule flight: Jomsom/Pokhara with domestic airport tax.
    • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels allowed for expedition till Base Camp.
    • Per Person 30 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or, barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
    • 2 Expedition duffel bag or, barrel for each member.
    • Generator or Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging.
    • Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
    • Emergency medical oxygen at Base Camp.
    • Visa extension fee.
    • Garbage deposit fees.
    • Official taxes and agency service charge.

     

    Service does not include

    • International airfare from/to your country.
    • Nepal entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport at upon arrival).
    • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu & Pokhara.
    • Hotel after 6 night stay in Kathmandu.
    • Personal climbing gear and equipment above Base Camp.
    • High Tents above Base Camp.
    • High altitude food and fuel above Base Camp.
    • Oxygen bottles with mask and regulator-Poisk Oxygen System (available on requst).
    • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation and lost luggage.
    • Applicable permit fees & customs charges, etc. for personal SAT phone, Walkie-Talkie communication equipment & commercial filming.
    • International airport departure tax at Kathmandu Airport.
    • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone etc.
