Panch Pokhari Trekking

Panch Pokhari is situated to the north east of Kathmandu valley and west of Rolwaling Himalaya. It is pilgrimage place for Hindus and the group of it has five holy ponds at the height of 4462m.  The area offers cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. The beautiful Himalayan range and pristine nature with different culture are major highlight of this trek where you can have good views of Jugal Himal, Langtang Himal, Mt. Lenpo Gang or big white peak(6979m), Dorje Lakpa (6986m.), Ganchempo (6387m.) and Helambu massive. This is a best and remote area trek in this region.

This is the most easily accessible of all areas from Kathmandu. It lies about 70k.m north of Kathmandu valley, it is an area inhabited by Chhetries, Tamag and Sherpas, and. The language, culture and dress of the Helambu Sherpa are very different from those who live in Solu Khumbu and Rolwaling area and it is famous place for arts –Thanka.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing: Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple and Patan durbar square with professional English speaking tour guide. 4/5 hrs.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Chautara (1200m.) by Bus then trek to Phusre (2045m.)
Day 04: Phurse – Kami kharka (2845m.)
Day 05: Kami Kharka – Pauwa Bas (3000m.)
Day 06: Pauwa Bas – Hille Bhanjyang (3400m.)
Day 07: Hille Bhanjyang – Nasim Pati(3700m.)
Day 08: Nasim Pati – Panchpokhari (five lakes) (4462m.)
Day 09: Panchpokhari – Nasimpati (3700m.)
Day 10: Nasimpati – Dukang (2100m.)
Day 11: Dukang – Dhap (1200m.)
Day 12: Dhap – Melamchipul (800m.)
Day 13: Melamchi drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 14: Kathmandu free.
Day 15: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.
