Makalu Sherpani Pass trail is an outstanding trek in the eastern region of Nepal which offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. The trail takes you from the steamy lowlands of Tumlingtar on the Arun River, through one of the least frequented areas of Nepal, to the base camp of Makalu (8475m.). The trail follows the beautiful Barun river valley in the Makalu Barun National Park as well as crossing Shipton pass at 4127 meters before arriving at Makalu Base Camp (5000m). From the last point of this trip offers beautiful views of the south face of Makalu, as well as Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse are truly regal and fantastic. The Arun valley is also home to rare species of various Birds. If trekker in good shape and has previous experience of trekking can make this fairly challenging trek anytime in March to May and September to early December in the year will be the good time to do this trip.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing: Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple and Patan durbar square with professional English speaking tour guide. 4/5 hrs.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu – Tumlingtar (460m.) & trek to Khandbari (1040m.)
Day 04: Khadbari – Fururu (1900m.)
Day 05: Fururu – Num (1490m.)
Day 06: Num – Seduwa (1460m.)
Day 07: Seduwa – Tashi Gaon (2070m.)
Day 08: Tashi Gaon – Kauma (3470m.)
Day 09: Kauma – Mumbuk (3570m.)
Day 10: Mumbuk – Nehe Kharka (3000m.)
Day 11: Nehe Kharka – Sherson (4615m.)
Day 12: Sherson – Makalu Base Camp (5000m.)
Day 13: Rest day for exploration activities.
Day 14: Makalu Base Camp – Nehe Kharka (3000m.)
Day 15: Nehe Kharka – Mumbuk (3570m.)
Day 16: Mumbuk – Kauma (3470m.)
Day 17: Kauma – Tashi Gaon (2070m.)
Day 18: Tashi Gaon – Balung (760m.)
Day 19: Balung – Pukuwa (550m.)
Day 20: Pukuwa – Bumling (370m.)
Day 21: Bumling – Tumlingtar (460m.)
Day 22: Tumlingtar – Kathmandu by flight then transfers to Hotel.
Day 23: Kathmandu Free.
Day 24: Last minute, transfers to airport for your onward journey.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:
- All land transportation by private vehicle & local Bus (Airport /Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop).
- 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
- All three major meals B/L/D (provide continental food)and accommodation in tented camp (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Table, chairs and Kitchen utensil etc.).
- One professional English speaking trekking guide/Sirdar, 1 Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa and Porters.
