Ganesh Himal and High Passes (Optional – Itinerary: B)
One of the world's classic trekking in the remote area of Ganesh Himal massiv and high passes
This is one the most spectacular and culturally diverse treks in Nepal. The region is without teahouses, and so seldom visited by other trekkers. For lovers of high and wild places this trek offers some of the most impressive view into Tibet as well as the mountain of Mt. Manaslu, Budhha Himal, Gorkha Himal Lamjung Himal, Ganesh Himal I, II, III and the spectacular peaks of the large Annapurna mountains. It is famous for different ethnic group, Gurung, Brahman, Newar and Tamang culture. We set up camp beside village and in secluded mountain pastures walk exposed ridgelines and explore forested hillsides of rhododendrons. The trip traverses one of our favorite regions, and is a fabulous introduction to remote area trekking.
