Dhaulagiri Region Trekking
Dhaulagiri Region Trekking offers an opportunity to see and explore the western
Himalayan belt dominated by Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.) even to its Base
Camp. After breakfast we drive to Beni Bazaar, way passes through the
beautiful farming lands, terraces along with the magnificent views of
the Annapurna Himalayas. From the Beni Bazaar we start trek following
the Myagdi River and will be taken to the Base Camp allowing us to see
first the eastern wall and the northern wall of the Dhaulagiri
ultimately wholesome view.
After crossing the French Pass (5,360m.) the
trail joins the most popular trek route of Annapurna at Marpha Village.
From here one can have another alternative. After few hours walk from
Marpha to Jomsom where one can fly to Pokhara or connected fly to
Kathmandu or continue descent to Pokhara.
This is one of the superb trekking destinations; this trek will take you out of the beaten track inside a region where very few foreigners are traveling,
This is a challenging remote area trek, taking in two high pass crossings and a complete circuit of Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh highest peak.
