Trekking in Nepal

Trekking is one of the fundamental outdoor activities on which many others are based. Trekking is the only way to reach many beautiful places in the Earth. It is also a best way to see the real beauty of Nature. Trekking is regarded as a better way to explore the places then in a vehicle because the scenes are not intruded by any distractions of noise and other hindrance.

Trekking in NepalIn another hand trekking does require some degree of physical ability and knowledge, as well as a backpack to carry food, water and essential equipment. The Himalayan ranges known as Silk Road are some of the most beautiful and interesting areas in the world to visit. Most of those areas are not served by roads so they are considered as a most remote and difficult places to get and the only real way to see them are on foot. Some people may feel that the trekking may be an end in itself, for others it is a means to enjoy the magnificent panoramas and often the peoples of the mountains with their culture, traditions and religions provide an equal interest to the scenery.

Cultural Treks & Expedition is a pioneer adventure trekking company, the leading organizer of tours, trekking holidays & mountaineering, with the widest choice of the destination, style and duration in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim/Darjeeling (India). Whatever your interest and ability, whether you are a hardened mountain enthusiast who wants extended high-altitude trekking, peak climbing, expedition, or an occasional walker who prefers alpine footpaths, valleys and villages, we have something for you.

Why Cultural Treks?

A trekking holiday with Cultural Treks & Expedition is very much a social occasion. A day nTrekking in Nepalever goes by without sharing a laugh with your friendly Nepal trek crew, meeting other trekkers, or lively conversations with the rest of the group at meal times.

On trek we get up at daylight, laze in the sunshine after leisurely lunches, and enjoy a relaxed pace of life. Rest stops simply happen – perhaps because of a tempting teahouse at the top of a long hill, or to watch some grazing yaks. We are never in a rush, which means there’s always plenty of time to relax and enjoy the many facets of Himalayan life that surrounds you. New and fascinating cultures, friendly and hospitable people, the word’s greatest mountain range- it’s a complete and totally absorbing experience.

Cultural Treks use spacious tents that you can stand up in – two people to a tent that can easily hold three. We provide high quality down – filled sleeping bags and two thick sleeping mats for a comfortable night’s rest, however better to have and bring your own sleeping bag. A dining tent, complete with table and chairs and a toilet tent are set up at reach campsite. It’s your job to do the walking and take the photographs – while our trek staff take care of all the camp duties and portage.
