Bhote Koshi river trip is an ideal trip for those looking for short whitewater
voyage. On drifting along the call of the wild white waters, the rafting gets
steeper arousing class IV- V rapids and later mellows into continuous streams
creating class III rapid. Unparalleled in its scenic beauty, Bhote Koshi offers
numerous photographic moments and opportunities to visit unexplored
archaeological sites and abandoned areas. After thorough safety and paddle
briefings, Bhote Koshi whitewater rafting trip begins. Best time for rafting
along this river is from October to December and From February to April.
DETAILED ITINERARY (Short)
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Baseri, take lunch and have rafting safety demonstration before talking-to the plunge and entering the river. Enjoy the afternoon of high action rafting, before pulling out of the river and making camp.
Day 02: we retrace out steps a little way back up the river, then go for it again before pulling out and making lunch. Pack up and take the three hour drive back to Kathmandu.
OPTIONAL - DETAILED ITINERARY (Long)
Day 01: Khadichaur to
Dolalghat
We drive from Kathmandu to Khadichaur. After delicious lunch at Khadichaur, all the important details concerning the trip are thoroughly briefed out prior to rafting. Thereafter, fully equipped with appropriate gear we venture into rafting journey piloted by expert river guide. Paddling along the rhythm of simmering river amid the picturesque landscape, exquisite wilderness and panorama of majestic hills, we head towards Dolalghat. This trip offers a relaxing float evening with abundant beautiful scenery and wildlife to view and photograph along the way. On reaching Dolalghat, we witness terraced fields and traditional Nepali houses perched on the hillsides and slopes. This glorious adventure concludes for the day with camping at a superb site in Dolalghat.
Day 02: Raft up to Kolpa
Maneuvering away from Dolalghat, we position the raft securely along rollicking whitewater towards Kolpa. Absolute thrills run through us as challenging rapids splash against our face rejuvenating our adventure spirit. After hours of rafting amid spectacular landscape and mystical wilderness, we punctuate the trip as we near Kolpa and camp nearby riverside.
Day 03: Raft up to
Dumja
We depart from Kolpa as we continue navigating several fun splashy rapids. Along the trip more spectacular vistas open up as the narrow canyons give way to unusual rock formations. After we have our abundant share of exhilarating rafting experience, we may indulge in off-river time to explore wilderness and ethno cultural life. Finally, we wrap up the trip and head to Kathmandu.

Rafting Cost Includes:
- Transportation to & from Kathmandu by private Vehicle or Bus as per itinerary.
- All International standard rafting equipment as necessary (Such as self bailing rafts, helmets, life jackets, kayaks, plastic paddles and spray jackets etc.)
- Well-trained and highly experienced English speaking rafting guides, cooks, and other helper staff.
- 3 times’ a day continental & Nepalese meals during the rafting period (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
- Camping & Cooking equipment (tents, mattress & kitchen utensil).
- Accommodation at twin sharing tent during the rafting en-route.

Rafting Cost Doesn’t Include:
- Land transportation by private vehicle tourist Bus (Airport /Hotel/Airport pick up & drop).
- Hotel Accommodation in Kathmandu with all 3 meals.
