Yala Peak Climbing Yala Peak is a beginner’s mountaineering trip, to one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks. Just located to the north of Kathmandu in the Langtang region, this 5500 meters peak is situated in a beautiful valley of rich grazing pastures and Tamang people. The scenic drive to Syabrubesi and after five day’s trekking to the mountains engulfs us. We explore the Langtang Village, Kyangjing Gompa and Langshisa glacier to help us acclimatize, then set up a high camp at 4800 meters from where we make our summit bid.

Yala Peak - Langtang After an alpine start under stars we are on the summit by late morning, with dazzling views into Tibet and across to Shisapangma, the only 8000 meters peak situated wholly in Tibet. Overall, this is a challenging grade trip, with only two days of mountaineering grade.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing: Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple, Patan Durbar square and Swayambhunath temple. 4/5 hrs.
Day 03: Kathmandu free and official briefing.
Day 04: Drive to Syabrubensi then transfers to Teahouse Lodge/Camp.
Day 05: Syabrubensi – Lama Hotel (2380m.)
Day 06: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village (3500m.)
Day 07: Langtang rest for the acclimatization & exploration.
Day 08: Langtang – Kyangjing Gompa (3700m.)
Day 09: Kyangjing Gompa rest and exploration.
Day 10: Kyangjing Gompa – Langshisa Kharka, Yala High Camp.
Day 11: Yala High Camp Climbing period.
Day 12: Yala Peak (5500m.) Summit then back to camp.
Day 13: High camp – Langtang village.
Day 14: Langtang village – Lama Hotel.
Day 15: Lama Hotel – Syabrubensi then transfers to Tea-house Lodge.
Day 16: Syabrubensi to Kathmandu by Bus then transfers to Hotel.
Day 17: Drive to Chitwan then transfer to Hotel/Resort & jungle activities.
Day 18: Full day jungle activities.
Day 19: Chitwan – Kathmandu by tourist Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu free.
Day 21: Last minute, transfers to airport for your final departure.

1 Full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide with temple and museum entry fees in Kathmandu.

3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge and tented camp during the trek en-route.
