Paldor Peak 5896m. Climbing
Paldor peak is located in the
Ganesh Himal, northwest of Kathmandu. The quickest
approach to Paldor and Ganesh Himal is from Syabru near Dunche in the Trishuli
valley which can be reached in a 6 to 7 hours drive from Kathmandu.
From here the trail crosses the Langtang Khola to Syabrubesi. After crossing
the River the route leads via Tamang villages of Tangjet and Gatlang, and then
heads northwards along the ridge before dropping into the forest above Mailung
Khola to pick up the newly built road that leads to an army post.
The moraine filled valley below Paldor is reached from here in another days walk. The return from the mountain can be made by trekking directly to Trisuli Bazaar in about 4 or 5 days from where a drive of about 3 hours bring one back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free.
Day 03: Free, preparing and briefing at evening.
Day 04: Drive to Syabru Besi 2720m. then transfers to Lodge/Camp.
Day 05: Syabru Besi – Gatlang (2,240m).
Day 06: Gatlang – Jarsa Danda.
Day 07: Jorsa Danda – Khurpu Danda Pass (3,620m).
Day 08: Khurpu Danda – Somdang (3,270m).
Day 09: Somdang – Paldor Base Camp (4,280m).
Day 10: Paldor B. C. rest for acclimatization.
Day 11: Paldor Base Camp – and set up High Camp.
Day 12: Rest day at High Camp for acclimatization.
Day 13: Summit Paldor Peak (5,896m.) and back Base Camp.
Day 14: Paldor Base Camp trek return back to Somdang.
Day 15: Somdang – Khurpu Danda Pass.
Day 16: Khurpu Danda – Jarsa Danda.
Day 17: Jarsa Danda – Ghatlang.
Day 18: Gatlang – Syabru Besi.
Day 19: Syabru Besi – Kathmandu by local Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu free.
Day 21: Last minute, transfers to airport for your final departure.
Peak climbing Cost: USD Per Person.
Full Camping Trek Cost Includes:
- Land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace, tourist & local Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop).
- 5 Night’s Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed and breakfast basis.
- All 3 major meals Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (provide varieties continental food) & accommodation in tented camp during the trek en-route. (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Table, chairs and Kitchen utensil etc.).
