Trekking Around Darjeeling

Tour & Trek Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.

Day 02 : Sightseeing: Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple and Patan durbar square with professional English speaking tour guide. 4/5 hrs.

Day 03 : Kathmandu – Bhadrapur by flight then transfer to Border and drive to Darjeeling (2134 m.) then transfer to Hotel.

Day 04: Full day sightseeing in Darjeeling.

Day 05: Darjeeling – Mane Bhanjyang (2150m.). Drive from Darjeeling to Sukhia Pokhari and from here it is half an hour to Mane Bhangyang total time taken is about 2 hrs.

Day 06: Mane Bhanjyang – Tonglu (3020m.) and Jaubari. The trek starts with a steep climb in this the trail you will come across various settlement.

Day 07: Jaubari – Sandakphu – Gairibas (2620m.). The trek begins with a gradual descend from Tonglu. It is about 9 km takes about 3 hrs.

Day 08: Gairibas – Sandakphu (3580m.). From Gairibas till Kal Pokhari is a stiff climb further the road descends to Bikhyabanjyang again a steep climb of one and a half hour reaches you to Sandakphu. Total time taken is about 5/6 hrs.

Day 09: Sandakphu – Phalut (3600m.). The trek begins with silver fir forest the trek takes about 5hrs one can view all the Singilila range this is the most beautiful stretch.

Day 10: Phalut – Raman (2560m.). From Phalut to Raman takes about 5 hrs. and the distance is 16 km walk through dense forest.

Day 11: Raman – Rimbik (2280m.). From Raman to Rimbik takes about 8 hours 25 kms.

Day 12: Rimbik – Darjeeling (63 km). Drive from Rimbik to Darjeeling takes about 5 hrs.

Day 13: Drive Darjeeling – Bhadrapur and flight back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel

Day 14 : Kathmandu free.

Day 15: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:

• All land transportation by private vehicle tourist Bus (Airport /Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop).
• Full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide & temple entry fees. (As Per the itineraries in Kathmandu & Darjeeling)
• 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and 3 nights at Darjeeling at Bed & Breakfast basis.
• All three major meals B/L/D (provide continental food)and accommodation in tented camp (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Table, chairs and Kitchen utensil etc.).
• 1 Professional equipped English speaking trekking guide, 1 special trekking Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa and Porters.
• Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
• Per member 25 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking. (If more than 25 Kg. then cost will be charged extra 10 Euro or 12 US $ per day for a porter).
• Trekking Permit & National Park permits Fees.
• Air Ticket: KTM/Bhadrapur /Kathmandu & Airport taxes.
• Medical Kit Box for Nepali support crews.
