Accommodation
Cultural Treks & Expedition prefer and arrange the Helicopter
tours and trekking from Kathmandu is not includes your local transportation, Hotel accommodation in
Kathmandu as well as in Pokhara city and other
necessary needs for the travel to Nepal. Our Helicopter tours and trek programs
designed for those people who are restricted by the time and would like to see Nepal in short period. But if people who intend
to come for Helicopter tours or trekking in Nepal and like to book the trip in
advance then our company provide you the accommodation in bed and breakfast basis
as well as local transportation as per the given new programs.
3 Meals; B/L/D in Trekking & Expedition
Cultural Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Prefer your all 3 meals and accommodation at Tea-house Lodge while in Heli trek. Mostly we provide local food with a few American and European-style touches. You can eat meals as per menu choosing your own favorite food for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in tea-house lodge while on trekking en-route.
Group Size
Its depend that how many people will fly in Helicopter plus English speaking guide and porter will be meet where land your Helicopter for the trekking.
Health, Fitness and Safety
We strongly recommend a visit to your doctor and dentist before
your holiday. Your doctor will advise current inoculation requirements. If
incase there are any strong or inconvenient advise by the doctor then inform us
in details. During your holiday you are under the control of your tour
leader/Sirdar or trekking guide and he /she has total authority to determine
you suitability to continue with your trip. On all trekking and exploratory
trips our staff has been trained to strict hygiene standards. We carry
extensive medical kits and, if the need should ever arise, we are able to
evacuate seriously ill group members by helicopter. We run regular first aid
courses for all trek leaders, Sirdar, Trekking guide – these are conducted by
Cultural Treks owner Mr. Kumar Bahadur Karki.
Travel Insurance
To join one of our trips you must have travel insurance that you need to make by your self. For tours/treks or expedition the policy must cover helicopter rescue, medical expenses, damage or lost, theft etc. and we also suggest that you take out insurance against cancellation, thus avoiding the loss of any payments that you may have made.
Prices
Prices are based on costs and every new exchange rates. We therefore reserve the right to adjust our Heli tour prices.
Trip Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be notified in writing to the office of “Cultural Treks & Expedition”. Cancellation charges shall be levied as follows:
- Less than 15 days before departure : US$ 500 Per Person
- More than 15 days before departure : Loss of deposit
- After starting the trip or trek : No refund
Passport and Visas
All travelers must carry valid passport appropriate visas and 4 passport size picture on upon arrival.
Booking Form
Please complete the booking from accurately, give the same name (eg: Maiden or married) as in your passport. Errors can cause delays and additional expenses with visas and permits. If you do not yet have a passport or confirm flight, you can leave these details blank when booking and forward the information’s to “Cultural Treks & Expedition” as soon as you have it. Please remember that we need your flight details so that we can meet you at the airport, and we require your passport details so that we can obtain your trekking and National Park permits in advance.
Tipping System
It is standard practice on trips in Nepal to tip the trekking crew, which includes guide and porter please allow them each person US $ 15 per trekking day for tips at the before Heli flights to Kathmandu.
Responsibility of Cultural Treks
Cultural Treks & Expedition acts as agent for transport companies, hotels and contractors and shall not be held liable for injury, damage, loss delay or irregularity that may occur, including, but not limited to, any defect in a vehicle or any other form of conveyance. The acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying a traveler, acts of God, detention; delays or expenses arising from quarantine, strike, theft, force major, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulation, accident by aircraft, boat, bicycle, motor vehicle or any other form of transport, or in any hotel, guest house, or other form of accommodation. The traveler understands that during the course of the trip, certain risks and hangers may occur including but not limited to the hazard of accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, and the forces of nature. The traveler agrees to assume all risk associated with the journey and must agree with Cultural Treks. Its employees, agents and any member of the group shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, illness or delay of the traveler or any subsequent loss or damages to the traveler’ any loss of or damage to property of the traveler; during the courses of the trip. Howsoever, caused, whether occurring in the country or the itinerary or elsewhere. The traveler also understands that he / she is traveling in areas which may be remote, subject to varying climatic conditions, politically unstable. Cultural Treks, reserves the rights to decline accept or retain any person as a member of any party at any time. Travelers agree to accept the authority of the trekking guide. Cultural Treks will not accept responsibility or liability for any traveler who contravenes any law or regulation of any country visited. Traveler detained as a result of infringement of any law or regulation of any country may be excludes from the adventure, without any right to refund or any other claim. No employee servant or agent of Cultural Treks has authority to vary these conditions. This agreement is governed in all aspects by and interpreted in accordance with the law of Nepal.
